"a person with only part of one term in the senate can be the leader of the free world..."

Good point, Wiz.

Seriously.

How about an ad with their combined Senate legislation........LOL....or even better, their collective absences!

Speaking of debate...I can't wait to see Cheney make lunchmeat out of that know-nothing boy.

A pretty boy, a sheister.

Chenney will growl that he has shoes older than Edwards, and more experienced.

So9

Now George, trump the bastard! Wait two days and pick Condi.

She's very smart and very attractive. Three years ago I would have agreed with you, but now that I've seen her in numerous situations on national television, too often she comes across as nervous and defensive. I don't think she has the temperament to be an effective President.

Kerry is #1 liberal in the Senate.

Edwards is #4 liberal in the Senate.

Someone posted 96.5% and 94.5%.

This is definitely a liberal ticket.

If Kerry/Edwards are the two Johns, this must make america the prostitute (internationally) should they win.

Ahh...........not only are you a doomsayer, but you are sarcastic as well. What a pleasant person you must be in real life.

It is absolutely your right to see everything from the dark side, even when the facts point in the opposite direction.

Just don't commit suicide when Bush wins in a landslide in November, OK? :o)

He'll still be North Carolina's senator because he doesn't have the stones or the faith to resign, but don't expect any sort of representation. He'll probably only make it to a couple of votes so he can give a speech about how they should push the vote to a time convenient for him, so he can actually cast one during the session.

I have long ago posted my belief that Bush should be campaigning like Harry Truman in '48. That would turn out the base and might even take the intitiave away from the media.

After all the President still can set the agenda. When Clinton had nothing to offer he offered nothing: School uniforms and kept control of the evening news. Bush has utterly failed at this and left the media free to beat up on him every day.

One would think that Bush would have taken a lesson from Papa when it comes to the care and feeding of the base, "read my lips..."

Looks like the GOP hasn't wasted any time in dredging up those remarks....and so much more!

Wow. Sure enough, thanks.

I'm sure they had top contenders all laid out ahead of time. They sure are organized in the Bush-Cheney campaign.

The question is.....

Is the Kerry Campaign going to run on Edward's "Two Americas" theme?.......one America for the wealthy and one for the poor?

Brought to us by two MEGA Millionaires?

Makes sense to me......not.

There have been a few dems that have been good. I always respected Hubert Humphrey. And Dan Moynihan was truly an outstanding guy. And while alot of freepers will disagree, JFK was quite inspiring.
