Kerry's best chance is to not be seen. Every time he is in the focus, his poll numbers go down. Every time he is in the background, his poll numbers go up. So if the media is going to focus on him, great!

"Edwards is not running for reelection in North Carolina because he couldn't win again! "

That's for sure! Edwards started running for President the minute he was elected to the senate. Spends most his time in Washinton. Has severely neglected North Carolina.

I think they're also hoping that Edwards nomination will be perceived as an honor for North Carolina. They really want to shake a southern state free and NC has what, about 15 electoral votes? It's so close that that could make a difference.

NC Repub Party needs to be on their toes from here on out.

About the 1960 election, it has been said that it was the Calvary and Union districts(cemetaries) of Chicago that pulled it out for Kennedy.

Edwards is not running for reelection in North Carolina because he couldn't win again!

Ugh...says, WHOM?

And stop being so damn snotty.

And, if asking for a definitive ANSWER to a question is snotty, then you're in the wrong place.Might I suggest DU?

Gephardt has no charm, but it's hard to throw mud on him. Edwards however has a lot of baggage as a trial lawyer who was personally responsible for running hospitals out of business (and even bragging about it). I'm glad he picked Edwards, I was really worried he'd pick Cleland.

Exactly, and I agree with your take on Feinstein. They don't need to try to appeal to the angry feminists when the angry feminists are practically at their beckon call no matter what side of a feminist issue they happen to believe.

Estrich...

The way she wiggles and squirms around as she is praising John-boy and John-girl makes her look like a cheap whore.

I'm not required to answer your question, am I?

You didn't seem to have a problem throwing in your 2 cents in the first place, did you?

We will be seeing his "incoming" cabinet, his judge appointees, and be given all of the new programs to be signed as soon as he is "official" so that any thought of not passing them will be reported as "cuts".

Hiliary doesn't have to run in 2008; she could still run this year. Indeed, with the polls as close as they are, 2004 is the best shot she has. Another 4 years of prosperity under President Bush will only result in support for whoever the Pubbies trot out in 2008 (see Bush, George H.W.). Alternatively, if Ketchup Boy and the running-mate-of-the-month (can't be too careful, considering all the flip-flops and waffles in the Kerry household) do manage to win, there's no way she'll be able run in 2008 (see Kennedy, Teddy "Swimmer")

Thanks. From the getgo, Edwards has looked out for Edwards. Win or lose, Edwards will be running in '08. Look for it.

Didn't Little Suzie also think that Bush would lose in 2000? In my book, that makes a strikeout :-)
