"At least we can get on without anymore of this 'its Hillary' crap..."
There will still be some diehards that will find a way to convince themselves that Hillary will not only be the VP candidate, but work her way to the top of the ticket - 'November surprise'.

Can't wait to hear that stump speech of Edwards again: "There are two economic systems, two education systems, and two John Kerry's!"
Don't forget 2 NC beaches -one public for the poor (where Edwards makes his annual 100 yard walk) and one private where his 3-4 million dollar house sits.
To: EllaMinnow; Howlin
Edwards was still campaigning during his beach walk Sunday, yet for the 2nd year in a row, he did not comply w/local ordinances about meeting the deadline his application and asked for a waiver. Add that ignoring of the legalities to his chronic lateness in paying his property taxes, and we have a legal eagle lawyer who, like Kerry, thinks rules and laws are for others. Can we all spell ARROGANCE?
To: The G Man
Obviously, it's just ANOTHER Kerry flip-flop! Actually I think the Post was setup. They went for the bait, hook, line and sinker. I bet the Kerry camp are having a big laugh over it as I type.

I was young. Did Ford actually propose going from president to VP? Seriously?
To: Dales
Kennedy and Johnson were also opponents during the primaries. I'm not sure, though, what they had to say about each other.

well, if J+J are 20 points down in october there might be calls for another "New Jersey" maneuver.

Lurch and Opie.I love it!... The TV Land Ticket!

Not so fast. The Dems are fond of dual campaigns, a la Lieberman in 2000.

Edwards' message was a "have/have nots" diatribe.
I'm really certain that this year the pubbies need to demonstrate that the "haves" are the rich dems and their incredibly powerful and rich supporters.

Also, he is yet to pay his taxes on time at ANY of his three multi-million dollar houses!
Laws do NOT apply to him.

...given something really BIG in his background that Edwards would want hiddenIf there is any truth to this, you can count on the Clintons to make sure it gets out.

(After 30 years in the Senate, all Kerry has to run on is 4 months of service in Viet Nam.)

Another John-John going down in flames.

We all know the dearth of legislation that Kerry has sponsored during his time in Congress. How much can Edwards add to that? What's the combined record for this ticket (not counting things they voted for before they voted against them)?

How big a bump is Edwards good for? Probably Kerry-Edwards will go up initially by five to ten points, and things won't go back to normal (i.e., a Bush lead) until after the Olympics.
To: Hostile
Yeah, but Johnson was a powerhouse in the Senate, unlike either of these two. I guess the senior (finally) Senator from SC wasn't available.
