Please pray for my Mom

Hi fellow Freepers,

I have just found out my mother has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, she is the sweetest, kindest woman I know (maybe a little biased)She is very much the June Cleaver type, always doing for others before herself. From the sounds of things it is already far advanced, and the survival rates are very low for this type of cancer. Please take a moment to pray for her,for recovery or at least to ease the pain.

Well, she has certainly brought up a loyal son, good for her. My prayers are being sent for God's perfect healing, that His will be done, and that you both will find strength and comfort in his love.

I have to echo the suggestion that you spend as much time with your mom as you can--that's good advice you won't regret...whatever happens.

Also, if she's inclined, get her to talk about old times, when she was young, before you were born. I thought I'd heard all the stories, but I spent time with my mom this weekend, and heard some new stuff.
