Did anyone else see if Justin Timberlake pulled off Janet Jackson's top?

"I do, I have 2 children, who I take to museums frequently, and so far, neither of them have shown any of the repressed rage or violent tendancies, or trauma symptoms over having seem statues and paintings depicting the human body."
I've been studying Renaissance art with my 8-year-old...and if you don't "get" the difference between something like Michelangelo's reverent depiction of the miracle of God's creation, the human body, and the sexed-up, bump-and-grind, borderline violent "I'm gonna get you naked before the end of this song," and how these completely disparate views toward the human body will influence a child...well, I don't get it.

Just as I thought. It was Michael.

Last year at the Toronto concert for SARS the Rolling Stones AC DC and others including Justin Timberlake performed in front of about 400k or so. Justin didn't belong in that lineup and was thus booed mercilessly by the crowd. I wonder if this incident is his attempt to get some street cred?

I decided to sit this out since I'm no football fan. I saw the beginning, which was quite nice, then spirited myself away to our bedroom where I listened to worship music and read the latest Dutch Sheets book on intercession. Had a great time and missed all that fun!

Now the question of history is:
Will Justin Timberlake be remembered more for being the guy that deflowered Brittney or the guy that stripped Janet?
I mean we know he won't be remembered for his "music", so it's one of the above.

There's a closeup photo on Drudge. He is referring to the thing on her breast as "a metal 'solar' nipple medallion." Whatever the heck that is!

I think that in some cases the local CBS affiliates were broadsided. But a few did take action as soon as they discovered what was happening. I believe that I read many posts ago that the feed was on a 7 second delay. My 17-year-old was at a party watching the game and halftime show on WRAL-TV here in Raleigh. She said that almost immediately the screen went black. Other posts have said that the scene was much longer. Which leads me to believe that WRAL-TV cut the feed as soon as they saw what happened.
The station has posted their own apology on their website. Here is an excerpt from their statement:
The station has contacted CBS management in New York to express its outrage. WRAL also has demanded that the network develop a procedure to prevent this sort of incident during live performances.
If enough local affiliates take this position maybe we'll get some results.

Groban has a tremendous voice. So does Beyonce. Both were a treat to watch. Glad I missed the big event of the night.

Yep. I watched the game last night but missed all of the hoopla over the halftime incident. I didn't even find out what happened until this morning on the car radio on the way to my workout. I'm always the last to find out about stuff, lol ! ...

Why is Janet Jackson apologizing if, you know, ... she was just the victim and all?

An accidental flash from some poor woman is one thing, a man ripping off a womans top on purpose is a behavior that some of us don't want to encourage. Nah. The little slut was asking for it.
