How Trump stole the South from Cruz

ATLANTA — He tapped voter anger to emerge from a primary field full of experienced Republican officeholders. A political outsider, he had a name most voters recognized, a business background fused to a populist message and, given that he was funding his own campaign, a self-avowed freedom from lobbyists and special interests.

Over the course of the year, Trump contributed more than $1 million to the National Republican Senatorial Committee, but it was Perdue’s race that captured his interest — an interest that was less about 2014 than 2016.

In Perdue’s Senate strategy, Trump saw the makings of a White House run of his own. And two years later, Trump has used that blueprint to not only capture the South, but to steal the region away from Ted Cruz on his way to the lead of the GOP primary.

Considering repubs never win presidency without winning Ohio, (in recent history anyways) Kasich may indeed have a trump card in his pocket to win a place on the ticket. Pun intended.

Kaisch and Ohio’s Trump card was embracing fracking. Not good enough cuz Donald is already down with that. Or will they trot out what an environmentalist he is now, so he can seem less conservative, because he abided by NY’s green agenda Mafia to get stuff done?

So in other words, what we need now is a conservative. Something Trump definitely is not.

If Trump or Cruz gets to the convention and is 25 delegates short and Kasich has 28 delegates then there is you ticket right there. I am not a Kasich fan bet that is his plan

I don't mind that kind of wheelin' n dealin' just so long as the GOPe has no fingerprints on it.

Here is a good reason why Kasich & Rubio & Cruz need to stay in through April. It makes for an easier path for Trump.

Marco Rubio: What started as a promising night with strong early returns in Virginia quickly turned into a bad dream for Florida’s freshman senator. His near miss in Virginia – losing by 30,000 votes, probably because John Kasich siphoned off 96,000 votes while finishing fourth – was followed by a string of third-place finishes. Most disappointing among them was Rubio’s failure to reach the 20 percent threshold in Texas, leaving him empty-handed in the most delegate-rich state on Tuesday’s map.

More voter fraud would help. Rubio especially.

Tip:
Lurker has been around for awhile! Ignore him in the evenings, you will most likely not see him during daylight hours. His behavior is better then as well.

Where did you put Rubios head???? The GOP will be infuriated at your failure to put Rubios head on there god. On a side note, a pig might be better representation for Rubio, just a thought.

Blessings

My feeling is that God often doesn’t give us what we want, but he often gives us what we need.

I don't pretend to know the mind of God or to understand His will. For the life of me, I don't understand what we might have needed that warranted 0bama at the helm and the Pusillanimous Posse undermining the will of the people in the Congress.

I certainly make no claim to know what God’s plan is. I would speculate that Obama has made things so bad that the country is now closer to hitting rock bottom than most people even realize. Maybe it is Obama and our congress critters that have been either unwilling or unable to take him on that will now cause the pendulum to swing back to some semblance of sanity.
