It looks like Michigan will remain solidly in the blue column if Hillary Clinton runs for President in 2016. She leads her potential Republican opponents in the state by anywhere from 9 to 12 points: it's 46/37 over Chris Christie, 48/39 over Rand Paul, 49/38 over Jeb Bush, and 50/38 over Mike Huckabee.
Republicans are split a lot of different ways when it comes to who they'd like as their nominee in 2016. 16% want Rand Paul, 15% each support Chris Christie and Mike Huckabee, 11% are for Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush is at 9%, Paul Ryan and Scott Walker each get 5%, Marco Rubio's at 4%, and Bobby Jindal is last at 3%. Paul and Huckabee do well based on their strength with 'very conservative' Republican voters, while Christie does better with more middle of the road ones.

This is about 2016? Seriously?
Does anybody remember why Clinton was the nominee for the D’s in 1992? It’s because Bush Sr. was so high in his approval ratings that any “qualified” democrats decided to wait for a cycle more friendly to their party. Which left them with the unknown from Arkansas.
And then Bush’s numbers went down.
IOW, who gets what now is beyond irrelevant. It’s comical that anyone would even bother to check.
Rand Paul will win.
Gosh it sure looks like Mrs. Clinton would win big if she runs. Gosh we sure don’t want her to run. You can do anything just don’t run HilLIARy Clinton against us~!
It only takes a few weeks of a really well run campaign, to create a virtual tidal wave of public sentiment. Of course if the Republican candidate allows Karl Rove any major role in the campaign, Hillary might actually get elected. Remember, my reference is to a "really well run campaign," not a suicidal exercise in stupidity.

Rand is following in his father’s footsteps. All zizzle and hot to trot out the gate and then later when the going gets tough nothing left but fizzle.
Just consider what the results would be if I could gain access to the national stage.........

The Pauls always poll well, even when real voting starts and they are being stomped.
Just for the record: I did not post this article in Breaking News. This is now the third time recently that someone here has put a distinctly-not Breaking News article of mine in Breaking News. Am I being targeted to look bad?

If you want to whine about something, whine about why you picked PaulCruz2016 as a FR name.
That’ll come back to haunt you.
Especially since we all know why he put Cruz into his name when he signed up to campaign for Rand Paul.
That was the same tactic that the romneybots and Ron Paul people did, always mix the weirdo with a conservative, as cover.
It was always Ron or Romney, and some good conservative.
Numbers are close to meaningless this far out
