This Thursday, September 24, Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen will be beatified at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Archbishop Sheen is rightly revered for the many contributions he made to the life of the Church, most especially through his promotion of daily Eucharistic Holy Hours for priests through retreats that he gave all over the world. For the honor and glory of God, however, we believe we are obliged to use this newsletter to show how even a man as gifted and devout as Venerable Archbishop Sheen was deceived by the arch-deceiver Satan through his chosen instrument, the anti-theologian Fr. Teilhard de Chardin—may God have mercy on him! We trust that the Venerable Archbishop would be the first to want us to bring his deception to light, as a warning to all of us to be on our guard against the seductive errors of theistic evolution.

God created life through evolution, end of story
God created man in His own image, end of story.
21st century evolutionary theory is a lot more compatible with creation by God than 19th and 20th century evolutionary theory!
It is also a lot harder for non-biologists to understand, and contains many mysteries even for evolutionary biologists!
For example, the placenta and the mammalian immune system are related to and likely derived from RNA tumor viruses!
The blueprint for life is embedded in the tiniest subatomic particle.
That’s what God would do.
I’ve never understood why many people can’t permit any suggestion of God incoporating evolutionary processes in His Creation.
Teilhard was onto something when he saw direction and order in the universe - and the fact that it was fine tuned for the origin of complex sentient life - he just didn't have the knowledge of physics and chemistry to articulate the ideas in less mystical and vague terms. I remember a book years ago by an organic and biochemist that revisited Teilhard's Destination of Man in a modern light - much more favorably than his reception by scientists in his own day, wish I could remember the name of the author and book.
Let me suggest the book: The Fossils Say No! by Duane T. Gishi
Here are some reasons for why the fossil record disproves evolution.
Abrupt appearance: Some groups appear in the fossil record without a clearly documented sequence of gradual ancestors immediately preceding them.
Stasis: Many fossil species show substantial morphological stability over geological intervals.
Gaps: There are incomplete fossil sequences between many major groups.
Rapid diversification: The Cambrian radiation is often cited as an example of substantial biological diversity appearing over a comparatively short geological interval.
Extinction: The fossil record documents numerous sudden extinctions and appearances of new forms.
To believe in evolution, you need to believe that thousands if not millions of years of a great many 'transition' species existed to create the next 'higher' organism. The fact is that there are no transition animals/creatures in the fossil record that bridge: Amoeba — one eukaryotic cell that performs all necessary life functions.>>>>Sponges — among the simplest animals. They have many specialized cell types but lack organs and conventional nervous systems.>>>>>Cnidarians — jellyfish, sea anemones, and corals. They have differentiated tissues and a simple nervous system.>>>>>>Bilaterian animals ....AND SO ON.
The facts that we don’t fully understand evolution and that some of our ideas about it are incorrect, don’t disprove that evolutionary processes may be built into Creation.
I don’t think it’s going anywhere - it makes too much sense to be abandoned by science. The theories just need more development, and Nature more understanding.
Yes. How does evolution explain plants that require pollination to reproduce and that bees are that mechanism?
Those plants and animals need each other and somehow they both appear at the same time? Inquiring minds desire to know.
Evolution is a religion and their adherents have faith. I’ll give them that.
