(Vanity, sort of). Any good and pure church denomination/organizations out there?

“any good or pure church denominations?”

Not really. Even the Southern Baptists have freaks and creeps in the upper levels pushing illegal immigration and SJW BS.

Maybe the local church will be okay though.

ucg.org. Be prepared to be challenged on your conception of what a church should be. First century, non-corrupted Christianity.

If you’re into hierarchy-run organized religion with lots of ceremony, this wouldn’t be for you - but if you like it simple, with “small-f” fundamental beliefs, you could look into what is sometimes called “Plymouth Brethren”.
(Not the Australian cult group)

They are pretty much Bsptist-like, except they have no clergy, the elders lead each individual church and hold “real” jobs.

Independent Baptists, who are usually King James Only and dispensationalist, are very strong. They sometimes tend to legalism, with an emphasis on separatism leading at times to a focus on things like alcohol and tobacco. Reformed Baptists, who are Calvinist in doctrine and adhere to various confessions similar in most respects to the Westminster Confession, are also strong, but they differ from Independent Baptists as they are mostly covenantal, and not dispensational, John MacArthur being an exception.

I’ve never seen a Congregationalist outside New England. Seriously. Never heard of them until I moved up there (and I have roots and relations up there). It’s everywhere there but nowhere down south.

If they fly the flag of Sodomite sin, give it a wide berth.

Check out the Mormans. Serious suggestion.

On the plus side, if you're a guy Mormon then you get to be equivalent to God one day - reigning over your own planet.

If you're a girl Mormon then you get to look forward to being one of many "celestial wives" of some guy "god", so you can produce as many "spirit babies" as possible.

What's not to like?

Pure, unadulterated, TRADITIONAL (as in, how the Church was in 1958, not the new stuff) Catholicism. Rather, where “sin is sin”, and one must repent and do pennance and believe the gospel, even as Jesus imparted it:
Namely, Catholics who reject all popes involved in the post 1958 era of “Vatican II”, and attend only the Latin mass in faithfulness to the constant teaching of the church, known as Sedevacantists, we who acknowledge that since faithful Pope Pius XII (1958) we haven’t had a valid pope.(A Sedevacantist is one who believes the chair of Peter is currently vacant.)

I think that the Evangelical Free church is still okay. You may want to see if you can find a good non-denominal church church in your area.

I have found that each church has its own character, exclusive of the denominations. I think the Presbyterians have already or soon to be split into conservatives vs liberals. The United Methodists are set to split along those lines at their next convention, scheduled August/September.

I agree with Guenevere- And would add non-affiliated community churches, but they could vary depending on the “Leader”.

“I like classic Lutheranism but I fear it’s too “inclusive”. WI Synod is a bit too far for us...even rarer than MO Synod.
What about Presbyterians and Baptists and so forth? I know I can’t trust the Catholic Church anymore.

Your advice could help me narrow down what might be worth checking in our area, I will deal with non-denominational independents on my own based on what’s available.

I’m not promising anything as I have other issues and the family to agree, but I’d like to have an idea of where I could try.

E.g., I did look up a local Presbyterian church that seems to be rock solid ignoring the silly PC stuff. We have many churches around so I’d have a lot to research. Your advice could help that along!”

Are you looking for religion or a relationship with God?

If you are looking for religion, go in understanding that man is flawed and ALL have fallen short of the Glory of God.

If you are looking for a relationship with God, start with reading His word in your home. In the OT God put His commandments/feast, mainly to be done in the home. While you study God’s word ask Him to guide you to where you need to be. It might not be where you want to be, but it is better to follow His will than yours.

May God bless you on this road.

I work at a Seventh Day Adventist organization and they’re as conservative as they come.

We meet in homes, are non-denominational. Sing, pray, testimonies, and emblems. About an hour on Sunday mornings. Our home meetings are all over the world.

Stay put. Support the congregations that are faithful with your prayer, voice and donations. These pastors and congregations need you!

Sounds like your local LCMS parish may be buying in to wokeness to some degree. The LCMS in its current official statements is sound, but the soundness does not always extend to the parish. “My sheep hear my voice,” says Jesus. Take care that, in seeking his voice, you avoid your own feelings. Since you are baptized and disciplined in the Faith, I will trust that you will continue to test the spirits and know when they are in accord with the truth.
