God is everywhere. He was not expelled. Satan has no power over God

Your proposition is ridiculous.

Satan is a created being and does not possess the attributes of God.

There is only one God. It’s kind of fundamental.

I think the plan was to expand the Garden of Eden, as Adam’s and Eve’s brood expanded, until the earth was covered.

Fundamentally it resulted in a breakdown in the relationship between God and Humanity, between creator and created. That was likely the target, if not the only one.

Dr. Michael Heiser states in his book “Unseen Realm” that Satan, did not want humanity to be a part of the Heavenly Family for some reason.

Was it because we had bodies created in the image of God, thus producing massive angelic jealousy?
Was it because of how we were made “dirt” making us mud people?
Was it because his role and that of the angelic hierarchy were to be “less” than us and serve us?

Did the creation of humanity spurn Satan’s rebellion?
Or did this happen before?

This is a very interesting topic.

No. That was not the plan. I'm not sure how much planning was involved. Satan rebelled against God. He thought His Commandments were unreasonable and constraining. Satan fought the Law and the Law won. After being expelled he sought to tempt Adam or Eve to join in the fight by duplicity. he was successful through Eve. So now, Satan had an ah-ha moment. See! Even mankind rebels against you because nobody can follow your rigid Laws.
It took a couple of millennium but a Redeemer arrived at the scene to show the world what God was like and what was expected in return. Gods Laws are guided by love. The life of Jesus was guided by love. To follow the Law this love must be instilled in your hearts.

Free Republic is primarily a place to discuss news, articles, and editorials. Vanity posts, creations of the poster him or herself, should meet a high standard of quality before one is even considered worthy of posting. Often a relevant current thread or general announcement, catch-all thread is a much better choice for a brief question or comment.

What kind of car did God drive?

God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden in a Fury.

No. God the Creator is Omnipresent and Omnipotent. This line of speculation is ludicrous on its face.

This is completely confused thinking. God is YHWH, I AM- the only thing existing by its own will. Anything else that exists exists because he allows it. Satan is less than an impotent speck just like we are to YWHW, the eternal one who spoke all thinks into existence. Satan is not his equal; the truth is not same pagan notion of a pantheon of man made gods or even equal opposing forces of good and evil. Satan has been bound. The decision “who wins” eternally is not a question. God allows each of us to decide which way we choose to go: eternal life with him, or unending misery with Satan.

Was "the plan" to expel God from the Garden of Eden (Bible Thumper caucus)

The great love of God is to want to have fellowship with His creation.

The great deception of Satan is to try to keep us from having fellowship with God.

The great failure of man is that we have no desire to want to have fellowship with God.

Despite the deception of Satan and the failure of man, God still wills to have fellowship with us.

By the time of the Garden Party, that Serpent, the devil had already been judged a death sentence ... The whole reason/cause for this ‘flesh’ age was to give every soul a ‘choice’ to live or join the devil in total and complete removal ... no more rebels and troublemakers in the eternity. The Adam demonstrated just how easily in the flesh one is led by the base nature..

The problem you’re trying to address is not in the garden of eden but rather in the tree of knowledge.

Google “Descartes Tree of Knowledge”

An interesting theory. We know from Scripture that Satan thought more highly of himself than what he should and he did imagine:

“I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God. I will sit on the mount of assembly, in the far reaches of the north. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” (Isaiah 14:13,14)

By perverting the word of God to man - His crown of creation made in His own image - it seems plausible that Satan wanted to usurp God's place and subdue man to serve him. What always struck me as strange was Satan KNOWS who Almighty God is and what He can do. He also knows what the Bible says about his final end and that nothing he tries to do will change that. Yet he STILL tries to drag as many down with him as he can in a last ditch spit in the face of God. But Satan can do nothing that God doesn't permit in His perfect will. Not a single soul can he snatch that God has chosen from before the foundation of the world. Jesus said, "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." (John 6:37).

The devil is a fool! Behind all the pride and self-exaltation, the raging about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, he is already a defeated foe and he will have all eternity to be tormented by that fact! How sad that foolish Satan worshippers imagine they'll be treated well in hell because they're on "his side". They don't realize he will NOT be in charge but will be the worst punished. He is after all the "father of lies". I can see why God hates pride.

I fully expect to see Adam and Eve in heaven. We know they taught their children Cain and Able to bring gifts to God at appointed times and also that Seth was a Godly man. From Adam on there has been a line of Godly humans.
When Christ Jesus arose victorious from the grave He was triumphant over death and Satan for all time.
We were chosen in Christ before the foundations of the world were put in place. God is in control and has been from the beginning. We may not understand why Satan has been dealt with as he has but it is all in the plan and purpose of God.

Mormonism started a LOT earlier than I thought!
