Now for some foundation on the Hebrew calendar...
The Hebrew calendar is lunar and is shorter than the solar by ten days per year, and to keep the spring feasts in the spring and the fall feasts in the fall another month is added every three or so years to balance the difference between the solar and lunar. This month is called 2nd Adar (or Vedar).
This is a very key piece to this puzzle.
The Festival of Purim is celebrated on the 14th and 15th in the month of Adar as is recorded in The Book of Esther.

Now let’s take a closer look at the word ‘north’ in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39.

Amnesty International said the Wehr Elbe, a German cargo ship, which was chartered and controlled by the U.S Military Sealift Command, docked and unloaded its cargo on March 22 at the Israeli port of Ashdod, about 25 miles north of Gaza.

Oh, please! Just stop.
Thursday is really the only day that works for the crucifixion. The Lord rode into Jerusalem on Sunday and allowed Himself to be hailed as Israel’s King for the first and only time in His ministry. This fulfilled the Passover prophecy that the Lamb had to be selected on the 10th day of the month and then had to be minutely inspected for 3 days (Monday the 11th, Tuesday the 12th and Wednesday the 13th) until the 14th. (Exodus 12:3-6)
He was crucified on Thursday, which was Passover, the day the lamb had to be sacrificed. It was also called Preparation day because it was the day before the feast of Unleavened Bread began when no work could be done. This is the special Sabbath that John referred to in John 19:31. It began on the 15th which was Friday that year.
The next day was Saturday, the weekly Sabbath on which no work could be done. Finally, the women came to the tomb at sunrise on Sunday, the first day on which they could do the work of attending to His body. (Matt. 28:1)It was the Feast of First Fruits, the day after the first Sabbath after Passover. (Lev. 23:9-11)
If He had been crucified on Wednesday there wouldn’t have been time to meet the 3-day inspection rule and if the special Sabbath was on Thursday the women could have come on Friday to anoint the body.
He died on Thursday, day one, then Friday was night one and day two, Saturday was night 2 and day three, Sunday was night 3 and He was out of the tomb before sunrise when the women got there.

That said, many prophecies have many layers. I agree the Bushes, America, NATO, Israel, Russia, Iran, and others played major roles in bringing about what now exists in the Middle East.
We're all guilty of not doing what God has commanded, and now there is a price to be paid for those sins. I think America will be first on the list, as we're already witnessing. Israel will follow, and then the entire world.
I believe as Christ said, "except these days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."
The days are shortened because He returns to our realm to set up God's Kingdom here on earth. He will reign from Jerusalem for the next thousand years, beginning very soon.
I also believe many, those who are His, will escape the final wrath.
This is what my study has led me to believe. We differ in this regard, but in many other areas, I completely agree with what you've said, especially with the lamb prophecy timing.
And something, IIRC, I'd like to mention concerning it, is even more miraculous. This is that both Passover and the Crucifixion occurred during those years, which had 13 months.
A lot of mystery surrounds the end of age events as recorded in scripture. The danger is thinking we have it all figured out. Now is the time for believers to get their house in order. To clean up our act. And watch for our Master's return.
He promised He would return when we least expect it. Nighttime is mentioned many times, and winter. And the times would be like during the days of Noah. IMO these are all clues He left for us. Noah closed the door to the Ark, and the rains started on the seventeenth day of the second Jewish month.
So, this brings up an interesting and conflicting conclusion requiring two separate solutions. First, Christ comes when we least expect it, and second, he returns to save the remaining flesh from destruction. The latter, I believe, will be when the Jews, in Israel at the time of these wars, declare, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" and He rescues the nation of Israel from final destruction.
The former, I believe, will be what some now call the rapture. Several scriptures back this conclusion. Such as found in Matt. 24:40 " Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left", and others.

A funny story about Aerosmith, some friends and I went to one of their concerts, Toys in the Attic tour I believe. (Coke-a-Cola days) Anyway it was at a southern town, in a basketball arena. We had tickets in the lodge but we didn't stay there. Remember, basketball arena.
So walking around to get a better view one of our entourage noticed the net/backboard was still in place. Well he said, "we can jump on to the structure and swing onto the floor." No seats on the floor, standing room only. So we did! I was second, hit the floor and disappeared into the crowd. Only the last guy got caught and they just returned him into the balcony. The next time I went to that arena (Blue Oyster Cult, I think?) they had raised the backboard up out of reach. Oh the memories...

There's an odd one out..
I actually met Admiral Grace Hopper as a midshipman at USNA in the very early eighties. She was giving a lecture on computer technology of the day. At the beginning of the lecture she passed out ~10” cuts of bell wire to all the attendees and proceeded to explain that in computing (at the time) performance and function were measured in nanoseconds, numbers that most people couldn’t grasp or visualize. But in one nanosecond, light (and electrons in circuits) travels about 10”. So now we had a reference of what a nanosecond was. That simple explanation stuck with me for the last 40 years. Today, we measure computer performance in picoseconds (1/1000 of a nanosecond).
