Illegal immigration on our southern border is a terrible situation. There are individuals, families, lone children all of who have less than nothing and have walked thousands of miles with just the hope of finding food, shelter, and maybe work.

There are no doubt that some of them are harden criminals. In fact, some statistics show that there is a high probability of the women on these treks being raped. They are pouring into this country by the thousand, bad habits, terrible culture, and all the problems, pain, and all the baggage that creates. The first step they take in entering this country with out permission, they are committing a crime. They are hardly the type of people anyone would choose as their neighbor, mainly because problems will follow them. Hardship and heartache did not vanish just because they change locations.

When I see the images of these people I have to fight back the anger. They are breaking our laws among other things. They are the reason I have to search signs for the instructions in English.

After seeing the latest image of illegals on Breitbart:


I was quietly pondering this image today while reading the scriptures. And the Holy Spirit began to speak to my mind and heart about the significance of what I was seeing.

Who will the Lord judge more harshly, the beggar that crossed a border illegally looking for food, or the hypocrite that refused to feed him?

God will not condemn a single child that is being held at the border, but He will, as surely as the sun rises in the east, condemn anyone that sets their hearts against those same children. By condemn I mean He will cast out and that person will never see the inside of heaven.

This situation is terrible for everyone. Make no mistake this will test every single person that calls themselves Christian to the bone. It was the devil that inflicted great misery on Job. It was the devil that inflicted misery on these poor beggars. And it is the devil that is laughing at us as we struggle both physically and spiritually with this situation. He wants us to fail, because he knows some will.

Jesus made it perfectly clear on how He will judge the world and this situation fits it like a glove.

Matt 25:
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his aright hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Those that had faith on the Christ Jesus and fed and clothed the beggar are saved at the judgement.

Conversely, those that did not do these works are cast out. Jesus makes it crystal clear.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Notice what Jesus doesn't say. He didn't say they didn't believe on him enough. He doesn't have to because, faith with out works is dead, Jame 2:26.

Those people jumping the border and coming into the United States are wrong. It's all wrong. Will they even show appreciation for what they receive, probably not, who knows? But Jesus gave us instruction about that too.

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Pray for them, feed them, cloth them regardless of what they do and you will be judged to be children of your Father in heaven. If they have sinned, they will face the judgement of God, but so shall we if we hate these people in our hearts.

These are the very works Jesus said by which he would judge every person on earth. We need to forgive these poor beggars their sins so our sins will be forgiven. This is what it means to actually be a follower of Jesus Christ.

I know that I have been changed by the Holy Spirit today. I am grateful to the Lord for showing me this insight. Hopefully I will be a better follower of Jesus because of it.

There is a difference between being nice and being genuinely loving and kind.

Do you honestly believe that a secure border (the kind other civilized nations have) does more damage than the situation Biden created? Inviting hundreds of thousands of people, including sex traffickers and child smugglers, to the border rather than shutting down that abominable abuse pipeline for political advantage is an abomination.

When politicians put people in danger, it is our Christian responsibility to do all we can to prevent their horrific abuse.

The OP will never engage in actual charity and that is probably a good thing. Because in their quest to "feel good" they would actually encourage malevolence.

While working in various charitable endeavors I found that the rules which were most decried by the dopamine seekers were the ones that actually made sure that the charity went to people in need rather then being stolen by criminals.

This is really obvious in places like soup kitchens. Requiring a small amount of actual work in exchange for the food and having it eaten on site had our little dopamine seekers in tears because we were being so MEAN.

That it kept out moochers and kept the food from being stolen from the actually needy just could not penetrate their dear little heads.

I think we are well beyond expecting the government to do anything we want. My OP was directed at was our individual attitudes and actions, not the government.

I can't see a future for us. The dems are pushing to make cheat by mail a law. This flood of illegal immigration is being encouraged. I mean who handed all those illegals, Biden T-Shirts? It's not going to be stopped. The whole world is spiraling down the toilet. So what's left?

IMO, just preparing for the second coming of Christ. And when that happens, who will be on the right hand and who will be on the left. The judgement isn't a trial nor is it a negotiation. It's just a verdict and a sentencing.

Not sure what you mean by “we as individuals do not have to be a part of it.” As a person of faith, I certainly pray daily—and I have no problem praying for the children’s wellbeing...and everyone’s wellbeing—especially those living on the border...Pray for all because many are being bused into interior of our Country, so we are all affected.

Pray for them: Many if not most Christians are praying for the entire situation on the border...How about the poor Texans who are having to deal with this? The administration is not even acknowledging a problem.

Feed and cloth them: We ARE feeding them, and clothing them, and providing healthcare, and education, and legal advice and on and on...(Even tho many US citizens’ children are not in school due to lockdowns...)

Judging: I am not judging them. Frankly if I was poor and encouraged to come to a place a few thousand miles north that will take care of me and/or my family in perpetuity, the logical thing would be for me to take or send my kids...And since I would be invited and encouraged by the new ROTUS, I would not even feel that I am violating the law.

Sadly, these kids are often introduced into the human trafficking system which is the greatest tragedy of all...and there are few if any positive outcomes. That is hurting the children the most IMHO. Actually, saving the children from the human trafficking industry may have been the main driver for Trump’s goal of a border wall. He prioritized recovering children from the trafficking industry as well as the mule drug running industry that the cartels have established. And ROTUS has stopped any wall construction...

Also, with coyote’s bringing thousands of people across the border, the border patrol is distracted so the cartel can bring in drugs which hurts children and adults...So by encouraging and allowing illegal families and unaccompanied minor illegals, we are facilitating violent crime and drug abuse.

I remember some personalities and pols bringing soccer balls and teddy bears to the border for the unaccompanied illegals in 2015...Best thing for the children is to send them home. Help the countries of origin. (Which I think USA is doing more than any other country.)

With the gutting of many jobs during the past year, US citizens are looking for work—we cannot afford to flood the market with new job seekers. As we are experiencing systemic reduction/elimination of certain industries due to lockdowns, children of US citizens who need help and are not getting it. We here do not have unlimited resources, I don’t think it is hardening my heart to point out the reality that the US cannot accommodate an ever-growing tide of people...we have no more resources at this point as our own economy is perilously close to major economic hardship and many here are suffering.

We already help many coming here LEGALLY...What we are experiencing now is surge of foreigners arriving illegally. And if they know it, they and don’t care. They receive help from various NGOs that benefit from the surges...Jesus says we are to abide the law.

I certainly agree that we need to pray—not only for children but for our country. However, I don’t think you have a clear scope of what is going on down in TX...I suggest you watch Real America’s Voice because they are doing an excellent job of covering the absolute tragedy at the border.

If you take time to watch (even today they had content on what is happening to the children...), you will learn that we are not doing any favors for the people crossing by keeping borders open and by enticing them.

Again, they are coming because our government is promising them food, clothing, shelter, education, and healthcare. Meanwhile they are getting raped or forced into the drug mule trade by cartels— raped even on OUR soil...This has to stop!
