Well there’s your problem right there.

This is great news. Christians understand an abomination to God. It is a matter of our 1st amendment rights to speech AND religion. Faggots are very sick and need shock treatments for cure. They can be cured of this mental illness.

BTW way, women have no ordination before God, They are mandated to keep their heads covered and their mouths shut except addressing questions to their husbands.

A church in West Virginia has been voted out of its local Baptist association because its pastor says gays and lesbians should be welcomed. Everyone should be welcome at church, but pretending that homosexuality is normal should not be a stance of any church.

Did the elders have a say in this? Or is this preacher alone, radical enough to steer the whole congregation? As it will become a homosexual church.

Pastor Valerie Gittings had endorsed a local human rights ordinance protecting sexual orientation. It shouldn't have come to that. Having a female "pastor" should have done it.

I fairly recently saw a photo of services at the First Baptist Church of Belgrade. I think that was the city. Anyway it was in Romania.
One thing which struck me was that every female over maybe 14, in the large congregation was either wearing a hat or had a small cloth over her head.
I got to thinking and remembered when my Mother and all the other women in our Southern Baptist Church wore hats or head coverings. I am not sure when it changed but it did.

My Baptist Church welcomes homosexuals. But our minister says that they will hear the truth that God thinks their homosexual sin is an abomination.
Jesus said the well didnt need a physician. He came to save the unrighteous.

I see the two problems: - Pastor Valerie ... she said "many progressive Christians reject outright the idea that homosexual behavior is a violation of God's law."
- Gittings' church rejected her offer to resign, saying in a statement they hope the local association "will return to the Baptist fundamentals of soul liberty and local church autonomy."

I don’t know any gays or lesbians. I know people who are spiritually dead, and those who have been made alive in Christ.
Both groups need the Word of God, the former, so the Truth will make them free. The latter group, so the Truth can sanctify them and make them grow.
I think Believers sometimes make issues far too complicated. Satan (the left) wants division and strife, even if he has to invent oppressed groups. The only minority that truly matters is the individual. Don’t play identity politics. Minister to the individual(s) no matter how pitiful satan has left them.
