“Pastor” Valerie obviously makes up her own rules, ignoring the Bible.

... Romans 1:18-32 ... these days if you blink it starts happening somewhere else.
Either stand and fight against this spirit of perversion or run for the exit.to someplace you can stand and fight from. Never ever compromise. Compromise with evil is still evil.

This is great news. Christians understand an abomination to God. It is a matter of our 1st amendment rights to speech AND religion. Faggots are very sick and need shock treatments for cure. They can be cured of this mental illness.

progressive Christians = OXYMORON

People forget the other lesson of Sodom and Gomorrah. Lot’s wife “looked” back on the city as she fled. The more appropriate translation would be turned back or lagged behind. She wasn’t fully ready to trust God and still had a desire for her old wicked ways. This is what the modern church has become, you are forgiven and go and sin some more.

These days people think that something that should be seen as evidence of God’s wrath (homosexuality being championed) is “progress”. This is probably part of how it will be that even though Revelation is happening all around them folks will still not repent.

BTW way, women have no ordination before God, They are mandated to keep their heads covered and their mouths shut except addressing questions to their husbands.

A church in West Virginia has been voted out of its local Baptist association because its pastor says gays and lesbians should be welcomed. Everyone should be welcome at church, but pretending that homosexuality is normal should not be a stance of any church.

Did the elders have a say in this? Or is this preacher alone, radical enough to steer the whole congregation? As it will become a homosexual church.

Pastor Valerie Gittings had endorsed a local human rights ordinance protecting sexual orientation. It shouldn't have come to that. Having a female "pastor" should have done it.

I dunno about shock treatments. I knew a pretty damaged individual in my hometown who got ECT --- this was 40+ years ago in a state mental institution--- for his various behavioral problems. It's
possible the ECT may even have saved his life for mitigating his severe depression (I don't know) but in terms of homosexuality, he ended up with his promiscuously sodomite behavior unchanged.
I think he needed intensive spiritual counseling. He was a poor suffering wretch. I was at the time a staffer at a church-based homeless shelter, and I and the other staff truly worked hard to get him involved in volunteer work to keep him out of trouble.

Correct.
Everyone is welcome at church, but that doesnt mean the church condones all behavior shown by parishioners. At least, it should be discouraging sinful character.
When I see there is a female pastor, I figure were in trouble. Dont really have problem with them but it usually means liberal.
