Vatican starting to look hypocritical on those 'national security concerns'

The Vatican has called an ISIS terrorist video from the Philippines threatening the life of the pope "worrying" and made vague statements about security being in ready to halt the potential attack.

Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Holy See's No. 2 official, said he has seen the video of militants desecrating Christian statues and threatening the pope by saying they'll come to Rome, as they tear in half photos of him and his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI.

The video was mostly filmed in the Philippines, where ISIS has been clashing with government forces for control of the city of Marawi, MailOnline reported.

Parolin said: "Obviously, one cannot help but worry, above all for the senseless hatred that it is." But he said the Vatican has not added more measures to its already bolstered security.

It's not their first threat against the Vatican. Terrorists launched another video with St. Peter's Square in their crosshairs in 2015, created in the wake of their murder of a group of Egyptian Christians on a beach the same year.

The Swiss Guards recently said it is "only a matter of time" before the terrorists do their worst to strike at the Vatican.

The threat comes at a peculiar time - in the wake of words from the pope urging Europe to take all comers in great refugee inflow, without regard for "national security concerns."

In the message, Francis demanded governments welcome, protect, promote and integrate migrants, saying Jesus’ message of love is rooted in welcoming the “rejected strangers of every age.”

He demanded a simplified process of granting humanitarian and temporary visas and rejected arbitrary and collective expulsions as “unsuitable.”

Whose personal safety that might be was not specified. But it appeared the Holy Father placed a higher value on the right of potential terrorists to come to Europe to live the good life than the right of their intended victims to live without fear ...

Ping!

The USA always has had the ability to eradicate the slimic terrorists and neuter the cult of islam for the next hundred years. High time we get serious.

The Vatican should not have to concern itself with being attacked.

The Catholic Church must be allowed to return to the Rock upon which Jesus told the first Pope, Peter, He would build His Church.

John Paul II understood human nature and behavior. He was on the right side of history. Pope Francis has had a long history of delusion and hard as it is for Catholics, his political pronouncements must be ignored to the greatest extent possible.

Guess this pope is not very infallible.

By acting as intermediary between bammy and the castros, this pope has proven that he is unfit to be pope, and must resign.

He is doing all he can to turn Europe into a m*slim hell. He is not fit to be pope and must resign.

I was reading an article in the Italian press that said that Italians and Catholics in general are becoming more vocal about their disgust with Francis because he seems to believe he is mainly some kind of uber-political figure with global powers. He was busy this week sending messages to the government of Myanmar about “protecting” the Rohingya, a Muslim minority that has been causing increasing problems in that Buddhist country, and telling the Italians that they had to let in unlimited numbers of “immigrants” and hand over their cities to them.

He seems to have decided that this whole “Church” bit was just too limiting for somebody with his brilliance and political righteousness.

He has not yet spoken “ex cathedra.” Happens rarely. Popes are only infallible when the speak thusly.

Infallibility for non-Catholics means pronouncements on either faith or morals.

This does not involve infallibility.

The Vatican dropped the Fatima ball instead of taking it to the end zone as the Coach directed.

Now, the Grand Delusion's mental malware has them by the short hairs, just like it does the rest of the progressive world, exactly as it was designed to do by the Trickster himself.

Fueled by hate and resentment, progressives have built an irrational world upon lie after lie that feeds upon itself, creating a vicious circle that now swirls around the drain to the underworld.

There is no way out of this mess now but Jesus.

ISIS focuses on the Muslim End-Time prophecies of the Hadith, and these include the conquest of Rome as well as the destruction of all crucifixes and all churches worldwide.

“the pope hasn’t built a bridge yet ??”

Haha that is kind of funny given the meaning of “Pontifex” is “bridge builder”.

Score one for Nana.
