My family member has lived with crippling back pain for years. They have done surgeries, but some have been botched.

She has been living on pain killers.

Tomorrow they are going to try to put a direct line into her spinal cord, or something... so that the meds can go right in.

Dear Heavenly Father, We pray to you for our sister, Vickie. Lord, please give the surgeons skill and knowledge to heal her back. Please give Vickie the strength and spirit to endure the surgery and the following rehabilitation. In This I Pray. Amen.

This is not my mom. My parents are both dead.

This is my sister in law. Her son is not only my nephew, but also my Godson..which is something I take seriously.

I would just LOVE it if the surgery she is having would allow her to move with freedom and just to take a HUG without cringing.
