Sliding Down the Slope |

Thirty-one years ago last January, newspaper and television reports about the Supreme Court's landmark Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton decisions described them as legalizing abortion during the first trimester of pregnancy and hailed the abortion decisions as triumphs for women's rights. |

The greatest evil is not done in those sordid dens of evil that Dickens loved to paint but is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clear, carpeted, warmed, well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voices. C. S. Lewis
Note that the only two who voted against the majority in Roe v Wade (against MURDERING babies) are on the right side of the photo. Rehnquist standing and White seated. Now isnt that interesting .Hmmmm
"Blackmun invented a right to abortion....Roe had nothing whatever to do with constitutional interpretation. The utter emptiness of the opinion has been demonstrated time and again, but that, too, is irrelevant. The decision and its later reaffirmations simply enforce the cultural prejudices of a particular class in American society, nothing more and nothing less. For that reason, Roe is impervious to logical or historical argument; it is what some people, including a majority of the Justices, want, and that is that."

Just yesterday a woman was telling me that she cancelled an appointment for an ultrasound because she found she was going to be busy at that time. They rescheduled her for the middle of this month. She thought everything was fine and then she got a call and this nurse explained to her that if she waited another month and they found something wrong with the baby, like Down Syndrome, they wouldn't be able to do an abortion. She informed her that she would never consider an abortion and that she already has a son with Down Syndrome. The lady apologized and said they had to do this to avoid lawsuits.
** We also predicted that abortion would turn out to be the first step on the slippery slope to infanticide, euthanasia and worse. Sadly, we have been proven right on all counts.**
What can we do to reverse this slide down the slippery slope?
Great Story! And what courage that woman has, may God bless her abundantly!
Exactly what I have thought for years, and I have watched it come true. Spend anytime in a hospital, and you will see this crystal clear.
Pray, pray, pray, pray, pray...
