As of August 2005, I'm a wife of 12 years and a mother of two daughters, 6 1/2 and 4. Contrary to what my grandmother might think, I was not brainwashed by my parents to be a Republican. I was a registered independent until I started a business of my own in my early 20s. It was then that I realized that conservative and GOP platforms were more in line with what I believed, and what I believed about business had also changed a bit.

I voted for Reagan in the fifth grade, thanks to Scholastic News ;). God bless him, and God rest his soul.

I loved John Paul II, and already love Benedict XVI. I've recently started reading the writings of John Paul the Great, and wish I'd started that years ago! I believe he will be cannonized!

I'm devoutly Catholic, Pro Life, Pro Family, and Pro America! I'm dang proud of each of those things.
