I just recieved a call from Internet Golfer. His brother, Al is having major tests run today.

While it is too early to say what might be the problem, it isn't too early to say some FREEPrayers for him.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that we can join our hearts, one with another, on behalf of Al and his physical needs. I pray, O God, that You would greatly diminish his pain, that he might rest. Prepare his surgeon and care givers with the greatest wisdom, that Thursday's surgery would be completely successful and that he would have total relief from pain. May any concern about his liver be unfounded, we pray, that Al would soon be restored to the fullness of health.

Walk with this family through each day, Merciful Father ... speak to them of Your love and comfort, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

I'll ask for some for MY brother, MIke, who had a quadruple bypass this morning. He's in ICU, as expected, but seems to be doing fine after the surgery. Please pray for his continued recovery.

May God bless your brother, Al, and ease his pain. I pray that the cyst is the cause of his pain, and that its removal will stop the pain and be the end of worries. Have faith in the Lord, and go to him. You are blessed by having the company of many Freepers whose names I've recognized as having come to my rescue!

Well, we got home from the hospital around 4:30 this afternoon. As it turns out I was wrong. I think I said the doctors were going to remove the cyst today...They actually planned to asperate the cyst (stick a needle in it and draw all the fluid out). They tried to do that today, but failed. The cyst is very close to the digram, and they couldn't get the needle in to dain the cyst without causing a lot of pain.

The doctors have decided that they will have to put him under completely in order to get this done.

On the positive side, this means the cyst COULD be the cause of Al's pain after all. I will post another update when we find out when this next appointment will be. Thank you all for your continued prayers.
