This morning I decided to let BRAVO have an earful. Here is my email:

"As a DirecTV subscriber, I am notifying you I am permanently blocking BRAVO from my menu on my DSS receiver.

Your push for homosexual-'friendly' programming demonstrates your pandering to an audience that exhibits behavior that is not only detrimental to their own health, but the health and safety of families everywhere. I refuse to risk allowing my children to see promo material on your channel, so I find it necessary to block BRAVO and will encourage others to do so. Your advertisers will no longer reach me or my family members, and I have let DirecTV know of our all too easy decision to block BRAVO.

You may consider a homosexual audience on worthy of pursuit, but families who treasure their own lifestyles think otherwise."

I encourage others to let both BRAVO and their cable/DSS companies know that you're blocking their agenda-pushing programming!

BRAVO has turned out to be TRASHTV. Last night I was trying to watch, The Man In the Moon. A really good wholesome movie on BRAVO, but there were so many promos for the "queer" movie, I had to change the channel.

Well gee. I watched an episode of that show with my wife. If kids were watching, they would have learned how to make Foie Gras, organize their closet, trim their hair, and how to accessorize an outfit. I hope my kids will never learn that filth.

When Hollywood was producing the Scooby-Doo cartoon for movie theaters, they originally had the two girls as lesbians. They say "Who can argue about them being lesbians? Who can argue that there wasn't sex between these two?"
Parents were outraged, and "freeped" the creators. They eventually removed the lesbian kissing from the cartoon.
Anyone who says the liberals aren't after your children are as blind as bats. Dead bats.

People who have no children can tell parents to watch and guide their children, but with negative influence burried in something as child-like as a cartoon, it's the hardest job on earth.
Those parents who homeschool should be praised for the job they do. They know their children are safe from the legions. Other parents can't say that. They'll never know what messages are taught in the public schools and liberal neighbor houses and their children.
Reading this thread alone, I can honestly say I wouldn't want my kids near many of you. I love my kids.

Actually the mesage of the show seems to me that with a little guidance you can improve your life....in fact it's clear they showed anyone can be straight and have the same well groomed, well organized, well cultured attributes STEREOTYPED to homosexuals. To me it seems the fact that the helpers are gay as opposed to the straight decorators on say Trading Spaces only adds humor to the show and is the angle that makes the show unique.

I rather have my children watch this show than a lot of the other violent sex-laden macho garbage on TV. God forbid someone sees the difference between living like a hum and living with a little class.

Let me ask this. Since you are so paranoid that the gay recruiters are coming to get you, do you think the straight participants on ths show are suddenly going to take up salsa lessons, wear a dress and take interest in Barbara Streisand movies in excess? Clearly the guys who were made over on the show were very straight AND were very happy to go through the show.

I'm thoroughly sick of seeing them swish across the screen and don't find them entertaining ... but then, I don't like mimes and clowns either. They remind me of the commercials for alcohol and tobacco, never showing the seamy, dark side those products can bring. I've yet to see any mention of the horrific rate of "domestic abuse", an increase of HIV is barely acknowledged, the amazingly low life expectancy. I think Americans would be astonished at just how un-gay their lifestyle really is.

Here's a thought. The so-called "strides" the gay movement has made have only come about through liberal, activist courts. Gays, like the pro-aborts, know that any of their issues, put up for a public vote, would die a fiery death. So, what's more democratic and public than a television show? Once the curiosity factor has died down, how many normal people, REALLY, are going to tune in week after week to watch a bunch of gay guys float around with their paint brushes? I find their mannerisms revolting, and, at the same time, feel sorry for them to be lost in a lifestyle that is evil, exploitive, and ultimately hopeless.

No, Springer, Lake, and these guys are equally offensive. All 3 shows encourage deviant behavior and make people think everyone is doing it. Frankly, I don't see the difference.

Except in the eye of the beholder. The only thing is that many people, ( i.e. YOU ) have been bombarded and harassed with propaganda for so long, that they some how believe that accepting ONE FORM of deviant behavior ( sodomy ) over the others makes them sophisticated!

The truly SAD thing is the vitriol that threads like these unearth. I live in Los Angeles, and as messed-up as our city (and state) is, one thing I am very happy about is the general level of tolerance here.

If I was gay I might be offended that they picked some over the top flamboyant gays to represent me. Frankly the only really over the top gays on Queer Eye is the fashion and the styling gay. The interior decorator and the cooking gay are on the show are hardly flamboyant or overtly gay. Without the title and gimmick of the show, it's anything but obvious that those two are gay. So much for your grand theory of subliminal programming for kids. BTW, who lets their kids watch TV unsupervised?
