Let BRAVO Know What You THINK About Their Homosexual Agenda!

This morning I decided to let BRAVO have an earful. Here is my email:
"As a DirecTV subscriber, I am notifying you I am permanently blocking BRAVO from my menu on my DSS receiver.
Your push for homosexual-'friendly' programming demonstrates your pandering to an audience that exhibits behavior that is not only detrimental to their own health, but the health and safety of families everywhere. I refuse to risk allowing my children to see promo material on your channel, so I find it necessary to block BRAVO and will encourage others to do so. Your advertisers will no longer reach me or my family members, and I have let DirecTV know of our all too easy decision to block BRAVO.
You may consider a homosexual audience on worthy of pursuit, but families who treasure their own lifestyles think otherwise."
I encourage others to let both BRAVO and their cable/DSS companies know that you're blocking their agenda-pushing programming!

Funny that some conservatives find this stuff entertaining. You could broadcast a period sitcom about Hitler and Eva Braun and their dog, and as long as you hired good enough gag writers, you'd have no problem finding millions of viewers who would find it "entertaining" and "funny".

In the event you missed my previous posts...
Homosexuality:
Homosexuality is deviant sexual behavior and a mental illness.
Homosexuals: 1) subject their body parts to uses nature did not intend, such activities often presenting immediate risk to the participants; 2) are prone to greater suicide, depression and other mental disorders and deficiencies than the heterosexual population at large; 3) are prone to far greater sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS, than the (normal) heterosexual population; 4) molest young people (pedophilia) at a far greater rate than heterosexuals; 5) engage in degrading sexual promiscuity, oftentimes engaging in risky sex with many partners during the same event; 6) are engaged in aggressive and widespread efforts to indoctrinate our children by introducing the homosexual lifestyle using public schools as the primary indoctrination vehicle and likewise, through the movie/music/TV industry, with the dual goals of gaining school-age acceptance of homosexuality and encouraging sexual activity among children, especially same-sex experimentation; 7) view most everything through a mindset heavily biased in favor of the homosexual lifestyle and culture, which renders them mostly useless when asked to opine on matters that normal heterosexuals better resolve.
The mental deficiencies described herein applying to homosexuals shall not be confused with the deficiencies associated with the left wing democrat/socialist/marxist/ feminist/environmentalist minds, etc., which have their own distinct set of mental disorders.
This doesn't even touch on what the Bible has to say about homosexuality.

The First Amendment was written, and I am doing what I wish to do which many others will also do. Those who wish to participate in what I consider to be blasphemous behavior
can condone it, if the majority of product buyers disagree
then we have no influence, if they do agree, then Bravo will feel the financial backlash.
So, if those who condone sodomy wish to do so, let them.
I will not and just remember those who view it and long for
this type of program, should remember lott's wife,
as in Ms. Pillar of Salt!

It is important to millions of us who find the homo shows offensive and part of the normalization process of homosexuality. I think that the most effective way to get these shows "unfunded" and "unproducable" is to boycott their sponsors as well as writing effective notes to the sponsors and the Bravo corporation.
Thanks for the update.

And I might be able to save some money on my monthly bill since I only watch about 20% of the channels that are in the package I have! Like I want to waste time watching yet another rerun on the Disney Channel or Nick at Night!?

It's:
http://www.onemilliondads.com Here's an example of what they're protesting:
________________
ABC - Saving Private Ryan
Saving Private Ryan (brought to you by Ford Motor Company) was aired during a PRIME TIME slot and contained not only brutally graphic violence but also scores of profanities. The f-word was used 21 times on prime-time, network television! Once again, the network pushed the decency envelope during prime time and got away with it.

Interesting. I thought "Saving Private Ryan" was an excellent film about WWII. And if you think your kids have not heard the f-word before, well, think again.

Homosexuality is deviant sexual behavior and a mental illness.
Deviant sexual behavior? It has been observed in nature at approximately the same rates as it is observed in humans. (Don't have a link on me, it was a study I read a while back)
Mental illness? It was removed from the list of mental disorders decades ago.

You are either badly ignorant, or are willfully spreading a lie. Because this:
4) molest young people (pedophilia) at a far greater rate than heterosexuals;
is just PATENTLY and verifiably untrue. The reverse is true, actually.
The rest of your homophobic rant (again, using homophobic in the correct sense of the term, not the "PC" sense of the term, since you genuinely do seem to be petrified of gay folks) can be explained by simple bigotry or environmental factors.
I'm sorry you hate gay people so much.

HELL, NO!!! I AIN'T FRENCH!!!
You didn't understand what I tried to convey.
As long as we're vitriolic about gays, that'll give them the attention they want.
If we ignore them, that'll shut them up.

"Why did you twist my desire for a new programming plan into a desire to control what other people want? You got a chip on your shoulder or something? In which post did I say I wanted to control what channels YOU can watch? I just think a lot of channels are crap and personally do not want to watch them (such as the Disney channel, CNN, TechTV, Univision, etc)."
I suggested nothing of the sort. I suggested that you offer a satellite or cable system you think would be popular with viewers. If enough people feel as you do, then it would be wildly successful. Others would be free to choose Direct-TV or Charter. You're the one who suggested a new type of system that lets you opt in to whatever channels you want. I said that you could do that. All it takes is money. If it's such a good idea, you'll have no problem raising the money.

I wish there was a way to cancel Bravo, I hate the thought that I am paying for the crap. but I guess it is stuck in a package.I have no comment one way or the other on the whole "gay Bravo" thing, but I can tell you that the days of your local cable companies only offering "take it all or take a hike" packages are going to come to an end. It won't happen tomorrow, but it will happen over the next few years.
Ironically, the main cause will be the most innocuous programming of all: sports. Channels like ESPN (but certainly not just ESPN) routinely screw cable companies to the wall, demanding outrageous per-subscriber fee increases when their contract comes up for renewal every year, because they know that the cable companies have no choice; any local cableco that stopped offering ESPN would lose half its customers inside of a month. So the cablecos are toying with the idea of moving all the sports channels to a special "a la carte" tier that subscribers have to specifically ask for. That way, the subscribers that DO care about sports will get all the channels they ant, but those that don't will stop seeing their bills going up 5% a year just because of Disney's extortion tactics ... and as an added bonus, ESPN's income will drop like a rock as millions of subscribers opt out and pay $0.00 for channels they never ever watch.
As far as I know, only one cableco has actually gone through with this threat so far, but from what I've read it's working. And once the idea starts spreading in terms of sports, customers will start demanding it across the board, and the cablecos will start giving it to them. (Now that digital cable allows for so many new channels, the chances of it happening are even greater, because the cablecos simply will not be able to get away with charging $100/mo for 300 channels, 250 of which the customer never watches. There's a finite limit to how much the consumer is willing to pay for the "take it all or take a hike" non-option, and we're at that limit. Pretty soon the consumer will indeed take the hike instead.) My guess: Within 5-7 years most cable companies will be operating under "cafeteria plans," where each subscribers simply ticks off which channels he wants and which ones he doesn't. Don't like Bravo or CNN? Your cable box will block those channels and you won't pay for them. (And NBC and AOL won't get your money.)
Of course, the more each of you calls your local cable companies on a regular basis demanding "a la carte" programming plans, the sooner this will happen. (It will help if you give the reason for your complaints solely as cost concerns ("I don't even watch sports, so why should I pay the increased ESPN fee every year?!?) instead of making a moral issue out of it. The moment you start going off about "the homos on Bravo!" or "those socialists on CNN!", the customer service rep is just going to mark you down as a crank. Plenty of industry studies have shown that people who call in with concerns about the price tend to be far more serious about considering a switch to/from satellite or cable, while those that just complain about the programming on a given channel are known to usually just be blowing steam and have no intention of changing their service. Guess which complaint gets taken more seriously.

The truth be spoken as outllined in the New Testament,
by our Lord.
Not everyone will agree with us, bu the truth will be spoken
to CNN, Bravo, Fox, or any other org. that is leading the people away from Gods Law!
They don't have to agree, but the truth will be spoken.

I know many homosexuals and I care a lot about them. I treat them with love and respect. I hate the agenda of the militant queers who want to recruit young children to their ranks. Shows like this just normalizes homosexuality. I don't think people who are against that are closet queens.
