Let BRAVO Know What You THINK About Their Homosexual Agenda!

This morning I decided to let BRAVO have an earful. Here is my email:
"As a DirecTV subscriber, I am notifying you I am permanently blocking BRAVO from my menu on my DSS receiver.
Your push for homosexual-'friendly' programming demonstrates your pandering to an audience that exhibits behavior that is not only detrimental to their own health, but the health and safety of families everywhere. I refuse to risk allowing my children to see promo material on your channel, so I find it necessary to block BRAVO and will encourage others to do so. Your advertisers will no longer reach me or my family members, and I have let DirecTV know of our all too easy decision to block BRAVO.
You may consider a homosexual audience on worthy of pursuit, but families who treasure their own lifestyles think otherwise."
I encourage others to let both BRAVO and their cable/DSS companies know that you're blocking their agenda-pushing programming!

We can assume that rural people are among the least interested in promoting sodomy on television. Just curious how you make the lunar orbit size leap from a tv show about redecorating and personal make overs to a show that promotes sodomy. I must have missed the anal sex party at the end of the show.

Don't you have a clue? BRAVO and other networks run promotional ads, including the homosexual propaganda garbage, on OTHER channels. I suppose if Playboy were to run ads on Nickelodeon you wouldn't complain either?

People really think TV is real. It's ALL image and sound programming.Well, it seems to be working. If you don't fear for the Republic, you're not paying attention.
On the lighter side, just re-read the following. If it doesn't light up your gaydar, then one of your tubes has blown, Sparky.
It honestly caused me to laugh out loud.
John has a vast and varied background. He is currently a part time contractor and car transport driver, but at various times has also been a plumber, an elevator technician, a fireman, a carpenter, a short order cook, an EMT, a Navy Seal cadet and a stripper. While he has learned a lot in those various occupations, he has a bit of catching up to do in the fields of style and design. A true cowboy who fancies his jeans and big black hat, John is ready to make some major changes ...

Navy Seal cadet. What a hoot.

You shouldn't have a problem blocking specific channels from showing up on your Direct TV. Just block them at the channel guide. I've got all the sport channels and MTV blocked out so I never even know they are there.

Tonight is the premiere of Bravo's
Boy Meets Boy gay reality show. They have a sodomite play the dating game with a bunch of other sodomites and a few normal men in the mix. The usual reality show format otherwise, it seems.
So this might be a good time to hit on Bravo if you want to stop sodomy TV.
From MSNBC:
July 21 issue Youre watching that old standby of all reality-TV matchmaking shows, the group date, and the star and his suitors are line-dancing in tight jeans. But theres the de rigueur twist: this is Bravos Boy Meets Boy, a gay variant of The Bachelor, and all the dancers are guys. And a further twist: the star doesnt know it, but some of these guys arent gay at all.
IF A STRAIGHT MAN can get the star to fall for him, he stands to make $25,000. Now at least one guy is having second thoughts. Were all partnered up, a heterosexual suitor recalls, and Im crotch to crotch with this 6-foot-4 guywho also turned out to be straight. Im thinking, Is my mother gonna see this?
Sorry. Yes. Bravo expects Boy Meets Boy, which debuts July 29, will draw not only a gay audiencethe channels also premiering the terrific gay makeover show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy this weekbut straight audiences who might get caught up in the guessing games. (Viewers wont know a suitors sexual orientation until hes eliminated.) Douglas Ross, the shows executive producer, says he wanted to test boundaries between gay and straight, and create a world where the straight people were in the closet. But the show may even prove divisive among gaysespecially when they learn that the leading man himself is still smarting from the experience. I felt betrayed, says James, a California human-resources executive, perhaps the first reality star ever to speak a bad word about his own series. James was finally let in on the big secret when hed narrowed his suitors down to threewe wont give away their orientationand he was livid. They told me they put the twist in there because they wanted straight people to watch, he says. I said to them, Well, youve played gay people as entertainment for straight people. Of course theyre going to watch.
I like the part where the straight guy is complaining that he hustled another straight guy crotch-to-crotch and worried that his mother might see him doing that with another straight guy. But, of course, it would all be okay with Mom if he'd managed to lure the sodomite star under false pretences and won the $25,000 for doing the same thing.
Obviously, it's more Must-See-TV.

"Its the same kinds of overt racist statement like all blacks eat fried chicken, are lazy and unemployed, listen to rap music and are criminals. "
Of course. I've never quite understood why folks can't simply not tune in TV programs they don't like. Modern cable and satellite receivers even let you block any channels you don't want to see at all.
Myself, I don't watch programs like the one being discussed. I'd rather read a book, to be quite frank. Nobody's prying anyone's eyes open and forcing them to watch programming on Bravo.
Live and let live. That's my motto.

"Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" is a funny show.
Sure, the most outrageous of stereotypes is always a bit funny. I would think gays would be up in arms about this particular show, because it makes people actually laugh at the gays. I mean, who'd want to be associated with something that causes men to prance around acting like 8 year old girls pretending to be grow ups.

So? I don't like ads for feminine hygiene products, bras, and ads for stupid reality shows on the channels I watch, either. I just ignore them.
I haven't seen any blatant sex in any of the ads for this Bravo program. I doubt your children are going to be turned into homosexuals from these ads.
This is just silly. If you hate television that much, turn the darned thing off; disconnect from the cable or satellite; and read a book.
I don't watch any of these programs, nor do I watch the stupid unreality shows. Mainly I view news and movies on television, along with a few educational shows on the History channel. Those all make television worthwhile for me. I just ignore all the other channels. Can't you do the same?

Who cares? I'm certainly not going to be watching this silly program, any more than I watch any of the other stupid dating shows currently on television. Bravo won't be getting my eyes tonight. Actually, I'm thinking about watching a couple of episodes of "All Creatures Great and Small" from the set of tapes I bought. Nice BBC program from the late 70's. Nothing objectionable there.
No doubt Bravo will get some audience for this stupid program. They won't have me. However, I don't care if they show the program. I get to choose what to watch on television. I thought everyone did.

Seeing most of the replies, I've come with a conclusion:
1) The best way to make this chow go away is by ignoring it. Sending emails of the tune of "I'll block Bravo 'cause you're showing gay sutff" is only a way to prop this show, because everyone will want to find out what the fuss is all about. If we could only silently ignore it, we'd be doing more. Gays hate being ignored, and that's a lot. Making a freaking scandal out of it will just prop them up.
2) In-your-face, agenda gays won't be anything more than a minority. This type of gays won't do any good to their group, and they alienate even gays who are not vocal about their sexual preference, so this show won't be more than a temporary fad that'll go away eventually.
3) Either you like it or not, gays are a part of human life. No matter how much you invoke the Bible or how many apocalyptical you get against them, they won't change their ways. So the best you can do is deal with them ignoring their sexuality.
4) Finally, for those that want to give up TV, newspapers and the Internet, here's a piece of advice: go move with the Amish!!!
The world unfortunately is neither perfect nor fair, and that's unavoidable, and no matter how far we run away from it, it'll catch up with us (even the Amish use cell phones). A lot of things you'll see in the media could be not appealing to your moral views, but the whole world won't appeal to them. The best thing you can do is hold steady and do the best to live a morally correct life, set an example and be true to yourself.
My 2 cents.

The difference is that the sleazy heteros on Springer etal are put up as laughing stocks. No one would want to be like them. But Homosexuals are always portrayed as cultured, intelligent, hip and rich. Who wouldn't want to pattern their life after them. If the media would also show the other side of the homosexual lifestyle, i.e shortened lifespan, suicide rate, S&M clubs etc. it might be all right, but of course that won't happen because they or their friends control the media.

Never watched the show, eh? I don't think I've seen any homosexual kissing as of yet.

But, don't you see: It's going on all the time in the fertile imagination of the poster. All around him/her are homosexuals gleefully engaging in all sorts of salacious activities. He/she doesn't have to see it on the show to know that it's happening just off-camera. He/she can visualize it very clearly. What I wonder is why that's so fascinating to him/her?

"Queer Eye For the Staright guy" and "Boy Meets Boy" are entirely different in subject matter and content.

It never fails. Those who yell the loudest are those who have never ever watched the show. CLASSIC hypocricy.

You guys have my gaydar pinging like mad!
To: finnman69
I actually find the tv reality dating shows offensive just on general principle. Hooking up with some guy or gal through a cattle call process is demeaning no matter the sex or sexual identity of the participant.
However, a make-over show is not the end of the western world. The target audience for this show is not gay men, gay women, or straight men. This show is designed for straight women. See who advertises on this show.
If we men weren't such pigs, there wouldn't be a show on the air. Women like seeing their guys dressed neat, with a well cooked romantic dinner, and a cleaned up house. This show is a female fantasy.
If straight men actually started giving a damn about pleasing their women, they wouldn't be watching this show or reading the Harlequin Romances. It is fluff.
