As long as there are Islmofascists in this world all Americans and members of Western civilization everywhere
are targets.
That's the material point.

I am completely sucked in to this story...watching Fox in my office right now. I just don't understand how this could have happened in such a public place with such strict security.

***The media is wondering how the hck anyone got a gun into city hall. Perhaps the metal
detector was on the fritz.****
Perhaps it was one of those terrifying all plastic assault pistols firing ceramic cop killer bullets that Schumer has been warning us about for years!

Disarming people doesn't work. All it does is create criminal empowerment zones, where the perp is safer. If people there were armed, the creap would likely be dead already, instead of escaped.

That is a stupid way to try to win an election. Dan White of twinkie defense fame - San Francisco City Councilman who quit, then changed his mind - but his position was filled. Deluded, he shot a famous gay councilman, then found Mayor George Moscone and shot him dead too. Got only seven years - then killed himself when out.
Like I said, I've seen some city politicoes. "Stability" isn't a lot of their strong suits.

WABC reports that a city councilman says that Davis was shot by his opponent in an upcoming election.

Thanks for clearing it up.
This is not intended to be a racist comment in any way, but as soon as I hear about a Brooklyn councilman named "James Davis" I automatically assume he is black.
His fellow Brooklyn council member Marty Moskowitz, on the other hand, is probably as white as Elmer's Glue.

Geez, Napoleon, he was complimenting the NYPD. Way to overreact.
Sounds like your "skin of armor" has worn pretty thin.

I just don't understand how this could have happened in such a public place with such strict security.I have two ideas: inside help or a gun stolen from security already inside.

WABC reports that a city councilman says that Davis was shot by his opponent in an upcoming election. I am gonna guess his campaign staff would not have recommended this approach.

I just got my CCW permit renewed today. Some NY folks are so ethnocentrical, they don't think anyone else lives in areas that are dangerous. NY is wrong IMHO to have such strict gun control which lends the area to having shooters in a target rich environment.

Yes, not only getting a weapon in, using it, but also apparently getting out and getting away, as well.
This would appear to be a major breakdown in security, especially after new measures since 9-11.
