This is not intended to be a racist comment in any way, but as soon as I hear about a Brooklyn councilman named "James Davis" I automatically assume he is black.
His fellow Brooklyn council member Marty Moskowitz, on the other hand, is probably as white as Elmer's Glue.
Marty's very busy right now with his "important" project shown here. These "important" signs will be at exits in Brooklyn.
I'm not disputing what you say - I think we all make assumptions based on these kinds of things. But, I've also known white guys named Willie Davis, and Charleston, SC (of all places) had/still has(?) a black police chief named Rueben Greenberg! Go figure...
