KRLA 870 in Glendale, CA is giving away Disneyland tickets this week. The callers get 15 seconds to be creative and speak about a current issue. I almost won yesterday with a limerick, but today was the lucky day. The prize was four passes for four trips to Disneyland or California Adventure (which sucks big time).
The murdering Uday and Quasay
Liked torture and women and booze-ay
But they ran out of luck
When they didn't hear "duck!"
They're taking their forever snooze-ay

Doug, try this one on for size:
Two brothers spread torture and fear
'Til they fired when our troops gathered near
At the end of the day
Said Qusay to Uday,
"Hey, Bro! Ain't no virgins down here!"

One of the local (female) talk radio hosts was calling Qusay "Poo-say" (as in Pu--y), this morning.

Thanks to all you wonderful poets for some great laughs. I stand in awe at your talent and genius.

Limericks are fine, but I think this occasion calls for haiku. See Post #22

Uday and Qusay
Ran Iraq like gangsta thugs
Who's your daddy now?
To: TXnMA
As a veteran of two Clinton limerick books and well over 10,000 limericks, that was very, very well done. Great theme and good job following limerick rules.

Saddam's boys, from Iraq , not Nantucket
Just wound up with their brains in a bucket.
Now the Dems are SO pissed,
Wished the soldiers had missed.
They don't like it, too bad ,we say f#%kit !

Thank you, kind Sir!
Such praise from FR's Poet Laureate was quite unexpected! < blush... >

The evil brothers from Tikrit-o
Are now, shall we say, quite finit-o
Turn them each bottom-most
Hang 'em from a lamp post
Just like their precursor, Benit-o

Thanks for the LOL! I needed that. I'm glad they're gone. One of them literally fed a woman to his dogs. I want to see a picture of their dead bodies!!!!!!

Agreed. I want everyone in Iraq to see the bodies. This is what happens to evil. God bless the brave troops who fight this fight and God bless this commander in chief for calling evil what it is and taking the fight to it. I really appreciate moral clarity. And it drives the leftists out of their freaking minds.

There once were two sons from Iraq,
Both shot dead as a matter of fact.
A good deed, 'tis true,
but we won't be through,
'til we put their dad in a big body sack.

"[M]oral clarity...drives the leftists out of their freaking minds." Our brave lads achieved quite a rarity
When in a moment of real moral clarity
They busted a cap
In Hussein fils rotten ass
And touched off this rhyming hilarity

Saddam had two sons, Qusay and Udai,
They each took bullets today,
The marines smilled with a grin,
laughed off the leftist chargin,
and said "Saddam is the next bastard we're gonna slay"

I used to listen to rock on KRLA in the 60's
You shouldn't be hearing this out on the street, so your freeper friend in LA
needs to tell you something...
...the "KRLA" of today is at 870AM...the frequency that was KIEV for decades.
As a transplant to Los Angeles, the original KRLA station changed and KIEV
somehow obtained the KRLA nameplate.
Actually, for the first couple of years in Los Angeles, friends who came from "flyover
country" and I had a good laugh at the irony that Los Angeles' most conservative talk station
bore the nameplate of a major city in the former USSR.
