The Freepers Greatest Threads, and Posts!
Why not spend a few minutes reminiscing about the funniest, most poinient, historic, or heartwarming moments on FREE REPUBLIC. Take the time to scan your bookmarks, search your memory, and scratch your head, Freep a friend for help, but find them, and share them with the greatest forum on the WORLD WIDE WEB.
This is the time to show-off, and post those one-liners and rejoiners that make the posters on the Jim Robinson website, that continues to make history, untangle quamirers, and pop enigmas. Rememer Jim and this site as you go down memory lane, and drop a few bucks on the fundraiser, as a bit of thanks!!
I've got my coffee, and a plastic cover on my keyboard in case I am drinking when the best of the best pop up without a warning... Have at it, you are the best......

This is a good time to have an 'old favorites' thread. It'll be a good one to save, since it'll contain so many old links.
Thanks for the ping, Carlo.

Another one was last fall when a FReeper posted she had a snake trapped under her foot and was calmly asking for help in identifying it and how to get rid of it...

My most significant post ever to FR. It took hours to review the threads and code the links (I am no expert). The second anniversary of 9-11 is not too far off. It will be interesting to see how many people notice. I still read these threads sometimes. It is truly gripping.

Do you remember another one where the poster said white stuff was falling from the sky and it was freaking her out? Right after the anthrax scares.

I'd really like it if someone would post that thread were the whole "I'm going to shower" running joke started. It has been a mystery to me for quite some time.

Thanks carlo3b for a great idea for some fun!

The "NSA Breaking News" thread/link posted early in this thread is a classic. I must not have been around during its heyday, for I surely would have remembered it.
