Considering the expense to the American taxpayer and use of American men and women as 'extras' for this media stunt, President George W. Bush should pledge that his USS Lincoln landing not appear in any 2004 Presidential Campaign Commercials and Videos.

A caller to the Sean Hannity (radio) show yesterday said that her hubby was in the PR Dept. of the Navy -- his take on this was that it was worth MILLIONS to the Navy for recruitment purposes.
Dubya oughta tell THAT to the 'rats!

The only pic not here is the one of Clinton walking up the hill on WH grounds with the military unit, in camo, behind him. I giggle every time I even think of that pic.
To: ewing
Okay Terry, but we'll definitely use footage of the Democratic Campaign Rally, aka Wellstone Memorial.

"Mr. President, the DNC demands you use no photos or film clips of yourself AT ALL in ANY campaign ads now or in the future.
"You are closely surrounded at all times by Secret Service agents who are paid out of taxpayers' money. If we see your image in any political ads this campaign, we'll direct Larry Klayman and Ramsey Clark to file a class-action law suit against you on behalf of the American people".

Hi ya, Annie! I am literally LMAO -- they're scared, terrified, panicked. McAuliffe is effectively admitting that not one of the Dem candidates can successfully run against a 15 second news clip. This is so good.

This is a classic even among your many other classics.
So nice of him to tell us what concerns him most. Bush in a flight suit versus the titans of the Slave Party:
Nine midgits and a crusty pantsuit.

If they really had partisan advantage, they would want the footage shown. Bush looked great, the country looked great and the Dims hate it... Life is good.
The clueless Dims are absolutely convinced they have a partisan advantage on this issue-they are off the reservation into la-la land...firing up the Dim base to infuriate the masses

We ought to print up a bumper sticker that says "Carrier Footage" -- WE can show 'carrier footage.'
It would remind people how asinine the DNC is, and shove it in McAsshole's ear!

One more thing. Why was Clinton on an aircraft carrier? We weren't at war or anything, so what was the purpose? To antagonize the soldiers?
To: ewing
I think they should just run lots of footage of Michael Dukakis in a tank.
