SARANDON MOVIE ON CBS FINISHES LAST PLACE IN OVERNIGHTS
So True.
I surfed through the program several times on my way back to others more interesting last night, but I did catch the last two minutes. It was not even close to what really happened. Instead of bright sunshine (it was in the middle of winter, for cryin' out loud!) it was dark, cold and very treacherous flying conditions. Their time on the ground was extremely limited and one of her friends had to literally pick her up and throw her on the plane or she would never have got on it.
Much, much more dramatic than the silly movie depicted.
LOLOLOL!!! Chuck Heston (in a loincloth) rules!!!!!
(.....okay, Chuck Heston rules, period...)
I understand Michael Moritority(sp)got blacklisted in Hollywood during the Clinton years. I wonder where Tim, Susan, and Mike were when that was happening?
Maybe people who have unrefundable Dixie Chicks tickets should either just not go or go and sit in silence. Wouldn't it be incredible if 3/4ths of the crowd just sat in silence?
LOL. Wednesday afternoon my oldest and I tried to rent "The Ten Commandments" at the local BB. He wanted to watch it after our Seder. After telling us they didn't have it, the clerk said, "Guess you wanted it for Easter, huh?" I smiled and replied, "Well, it's a story about the Jews. There isn't a Christian in it. They didn't come along for another thousand years." He looked perplexed. :o)
Isn't this called putting on a brave (but really really dumb) face?
Why do you think the guys got together that night for dinner, anyway?
I think he still is, don't see him around as much as his talent would indicate he should be. Didn't he have some other problems as well?
IMHO: he put Law ond Order on the map.

It would be easy to get into a religious discussion that would probably be inappropriate for this forum. However, I personally see the movie choice of "The Ten Commandments" as enabling ABC to show religious subject matter on Easter, without telling the "Easter story" of a resurrected Savior.
