Please pray for all the members of the armed forces, our allies and the Iraqi people. Pray for their ability to accomplish their mission, wisdom for their leaders & for their quick return home.

I'll admit, its hard to read the war posts sometimes.

As many of you know, my boyfriend (and love of my life, I might add) is in the Middle East. I have a vested personal interest in the outcome. I don't want war to happen. Its ugly and nasty. I want my boyfriend, as well as our military friends, to stay safe. It makes me sick that they have to be placed in harms way.

That said, I know war must happen. Freedom isn't cheap, and it didn't come without a fight. I believe that not fighting this war will bring greater problems for generations to come. Yes, casualties will happen, and my boyfriend might be one of them. But, the cause is just. As much as I want my boyfriend and friends to come back to the states and give a collective middle finger to Middle East - that would be selfish. I want freedom and safety for all, even if it means suffering a very personal loss.

War is horrible. Absolutely horrible. I pray that all of us will be brave, and face the threat with maturity and courage.

Godspeed to all members of the military and the family members that support them. They all have an enormous load to bear.
