Bravo Zulu, Bob!
This is the kind of education/training activity that will yield excellent results in the future, both for the attendees, the FRee Republic and, ultimately, America.
I have attended many of the Leadership Institute's classes over the past several years, and I can attest to their high value. The classes are well thought out, contain much valuable information and are professionally presented.
I would urge every FReeper in the LA area to register and attend, and further, enroll a conservative FRiend who is not an active FReeper to go with you. Neither of you will regret it.
And, Bob, bring the series East, Bro! There are those of us on the Right Coast who could profitably benefit from the Leadership Institute's expertise.
In hoc.

Thanks for the plug Taxman! We'd like to see this seminar this year in the south, east, midwest, southeast and northwest as well!
(Attention Dallas, Tri State, Chicago, Florida and Puget Sound Chapters...heheh)
The FRN handles all registration, contracts and finances, the chapter puts butts in the seats!
In hoc!

If a Chapter is interested in hosting an
Activism 101 Seminar, all they need to do is;
1. Contact the FRN Rep(me...heheh)
2. Select a Date
3. Select a Hotel
4. Negotiate a contract in conjunction with the FRN
5. Have contract forwarded to the FRN
6. Announce, publicize and put butts in the seats!
The FRN will assist in getting the word out to to other groups, sign the contracts, set up a registration website, contract and interface with the Leadership Institute, pay the bills and assist with hotel set up!

To: Bob J; All
Well, FReepers, there you are!
You, too, could be responsible for changing the face of America by simply following Bob's handy checklist and causing a Leadership Institute Seminar to be held in your own area.
Well, what are you waiting for?
I'm not a Chapter Director, but I'll throwout the first pitch:
How many Washington DC area (VA, MD, NC, WV, DE, PA) FReepers are interested in attending a Leadership Institute FReeper-sponsored Seminar in the Spring?
We could go to the Seminar during the day and then we could party!
Email me @
fdavis@salestax.org and let's get the ball rolling.
P.S. I'll ping the VA FReepers on the VA list. Need someone in MD, WV, NC, DE and PA to ping their respective state FReepers to this thread. Please let me know when you have done so.

Are there materials handed out for those of us who take lousy notes?
To: A Navy Vet
To be honest, the hand outs at the "beta" seminar could have been a little more complete, so, that will be one of the requests we make of the LI!
