Where's the "Hell Yeah, and castrate North Korea while we're on that side of the globe" option? :)
To: CanisMajor2002
Do not go to war unless you fully intend to beat the hell out of them, and do not give up any American lives hoping to save Iraqi lives. This is real foolishness. I would want no part of this. I can remember the Republican Guard simply walking away, only to come back and fight the USA another day.

"Too stupid to understand the question " - or - maybe, just smart enough to figure out bombing Iraq probably won't do
squat to end the threat of Al Qaida ...but too stupid to figure out who it would
help - other than the radical Shiites in Iran, who must be drooling over the prospect of the hated USA knocking out their most dangerous enemy : leaving them free to set up an alliance with their counterparts in Iraq.
Has it escaped notice that much of our "valuable intelligence" about Iraq's WMD programs has been coming from Shiite Iraqi defectors ??
To: Artois
Thanks. I voted "no". At the risk of being labeled a "liberal", "disruptor", or "DU plant", I also voted in the negative.

". . . freeped and we are losing" That statement implies that all Freepers are of one mind on this issue. Is that the case?
Look, it's highly unlikely that any of us here have access to the same intelligence sources that are available to the commander-in-chief. So given what we know, I believe it is always prudent to err on the side of caution. I realize others see things differently - I respect that.
Polls like this are meaningless (thank goodness)- especially one would hope to THIS president. Now to the previous occupant of the WH polls were a way of life. I can see him, on the eve of making a decision one way or another - conducting such a poll as this.
By the way and for what it's worth, I too voted no.
