Now they've found money from a Bank Robbery in the area. Can anyone connect these dots??? Did the Robbers see the body? Did they have anything to do with her death? Was the money there BEFORE she died? Enquiring minds want to know!!!

Yeah, I'll connect the dots. The 2 events are unrelated, other than by geography.
BTW, have you been eating my porridge? I'm going upstairs to check my chair and bed.

Either these guys are breaking new ground for incompetency or this is a Sgt. Shulz investigation.

If I lived in DC I would petition for a subsidized donut shop in the park.

I got the impression from the article that the robbery was last week. When was this robbery?

I wouldn't be surprised if they found the murderer sitting under a tree near the scene.

I am reminded of an incident that happened down here.
A woman called the police and reported that her father, who has alheizmers(sp), had wandered off from her home. The clerk at a near by convenience store reported that he had seen the guy just minutes before. The search party began searching the woods behind the store. About 30 minutes later the lady recieved a happy call from the police that she could come to the store and pick up her dad, they'd found him.
The lady got to the store only to see that the guy was not her dad. (I'll make a long story short) They wound up finding three lost old guys with alheizmers behind that store. One was her dad, one was from another town across the bay (Mobile) and one was from Arizona and had $1,800.00 cash in his pocket. This really happened.

Joyce Chiang and Christine Mirzayan, like Chandra Levy, petite brunette California Democrat (former) interns, died mysterious, unsolved deaths. Were they connected to Gary Condit?
Gary Condit's biggest expenditure for the first 6 months of 1999, was a payout of $10,000 to Mike Lynch on Feb 3, 1999, 25 days after Joyce Chiang vanished. Nothing else even comes close in $ amounts. $10,000 is such a nice even number too.
A poster at the ChandraLevy.com forum has found a good nugget of info -- Condit was in Spain in August 1998, according to this page - http://www.house.gov/agriculture/105/egysp.htm , and according to the Washington CityPaper article on dead California Democrat intern Joyce Chiang, she was in Spain some time in 1998 too!

My brother in law is a cop. Damn hard working man too. But he WORKS for a living, and has been wounded in duty. These boys in DC are as inept as I can imagine.

The DC police reported today that private parties searching the Rock Creek Park area found several human bones, blood-stained clothes, an abandoned automobile, six hand-guns, a knife, two assault rifles, a box cutter, a wallet, a used condom, a "This is Condit Country" campaign flyer, an address book, an envelope of anthrax, Levy's ring and keys, photos, a stack of marked bills, a videotape, a signed confession, and other seemingly important items. However, the police indicated that "these are not clues at this time" and that they "didn't know how these items got here".
In a formal statement to the media, the police said: "Oops! Guess we missed a few things when we searched the area the first couple times for, uh... what was her name again?" When asked about how this reflects on the DC police, a spokeswoman said, "We have not determined what has happened", and that "if a mistake was made, we don't how it happened."
Congressman Gary Condit (D-CA) was also seen in the park yesterday. He was jumping up and down and waving his hands frantically while shouting "over here, I did it, I did it." Eventually he was asked to leave by police community-service personnel. In a televised interview, a police spokesman said, "Mr. Condit, who is not a suspect at this time, was attracting a lot of media attention. He was asked to exit the area for his own personal safety and to preserve the integrity of a possible crime scene." Besides, we can't waste our time babysitting media celebrity has-beens when we're looking for donuts uh, ... a killer."

The article says the bank robbery was last week, so obviously Chandra had already been found.
Nevertheless, this park doesn't sound like a very good place to visit to me.
