Posted to stimulate a discussion of the comment "Demographics defines culture, AND labor practices define demographics". This comment was made by a South African farmer who is trying to maintain his farm and stay alive.
This is a vanity somewhat, but this was the first time I heard the above quote, and I think it is highly relevant to what too many of our industry / corporate leaders have done by bringing in H1B workers and off shoring jobs. I think that labor practices truly do have a defining effect on demographics, and demographics can have a profound if not defining effect on a society, a culture, and a nation.

We need a welcoming committee for them. Churches and share cropper farm opportunities to get them started. Put them in midwestern purple states. I’d have working automobiles to help them hit the ground running.
Then there’s Hawaii. Restore the monarchy and eliminate statehood with it’s 2 senators. Native Hawaiians will turn to the GOP. I keep posting it here.
