My 16-year-old daughter, Becky Pepper-Jackson, wants what most kids want: to be herself and play the sport she loves with her friends. As a transgender girl, that simple wish took her all the way to the Supreme Court, where the justices ruled that our home state of West Virginia can bar her from playing school sports with her friends and peers. I always knew that no matter what the court decided, Becky would be a winner because she has shown all of us how to love, accept and be ourselves no matter the outcome.

The whole family is mentally ill.
You don’t have a 16 year old daughter.
Poor parent can only be proud of his/her/zir/their son as a daughter and not as a son. Sickos.
Let the boy play with the guys.
If he wants to prance around in a skirt, so be it. It’s on the parents in the eyes of God, while the child is not an adult.
Such parents are seriously deluded.
“As a transgender girl, that simple wish took her all the way to the Supreme Court, where the justices ruled that our home state of West Virginia can bar her from playing school sports with her friends and peers.”
They did not bar him from playing sports.
I don’t have the stomach to read the story. But I bet you the mother started this when her son was three years old. I just have a feeling she wanted a daughter and did everything possible to ensure that she did. even though, she had a son.
There is a wise saying:
“Your rights end where mine begin.”
Nothing stops “Becky” from participating in sports. Nothing. But Becky cannot trample on the rights of biological girls while doing so.
It’s a simple matter of fairness. And it shows how messed up the country is that we even have to debate this.
“The whole family is mentally ill.”
or possessed.
Everyone should love and be proud of their child.
But it’s still a pile of happy horse hockey.
He should absolutely be himself! HE IS NOT A GIRL!!
I suwannee, liberals aren’t fit to raise goldfish, much less, children.
Nothing prevents a boy named Becky from being able to compete against her real life peers, other boys.
Becky probably isn’t good at sports.
Then whenever any liberal cries about how it is cheating girls, ask them how it is any worse than when a boy claims to be a girl gets on the team and beats all the biological girls. Stand back and watch them tie themselves in knots like playing solitaire Twister.
EXACTLY WHO ARE HER “PEERS”???
OTHER MENTALLY ILL TRANS PERSONS???
LET THEM COMPETE IN THEIR OWN CATEGORY
No one is asking her to change, and she can play with her peers ...males.
And she can dress however she wants, too, away from team activities if she wants to fit in.
There is so much to dislike about author’s complaints. Your offspring is probably not talented enough to compete with males, so best bet was to use her unfair advantages over weaker opponents, creating chaos, causing injuries, etc.
All the while, displacing other deserving females from their rightful opportunities.
Sorry, not sorry for this woke, brain dead excuse for a mother. It’s probably not even transgender, just trying to be trendy.
“As a transgender girl, that simple wish took her all the way to the Supreme Court, where the justices ruled that our home state of West Virginia can bar her from playing school sports with her friends and peers.” Proud that you convinced your son he’s a girl?
Hyphenated names 🤔
Munchausen’s by proxy. The mother belongs in prison and her son needs help.
