Our good FRiend, professional engineer, aka Rex Drake PE, has passed away, according to his sister, who posted on
his Facebook page,
as did others including myself. She also said that they don't know what happened to him yet.
So very sad and sorry for this shocking and devastating loss. I met Rex several times when a group of us went on shooting weekends. He was exceptional. God rest his soul. Prayers of strength and comfort to the children and family. And his precious sidekick, his dog Mollie!
His FReeREpublic page.

Rex [PE] on the left.

My house at the farm is 14 miles from the Texas Cowboy Reunion. My ancestors moved to in Haskell County in 1889 from Coryell County. We still own and operate farms there.
I did not know Rex Drake.

I did notices that that Facebook site posted Jim Robinson.
May Jim Robinson and Rex Drake rest in peace. And be remembered as long as we live.
I would post something to that site, but did not even know it existed. And I have always avoided Facebook. Too much loss of privacy.

Sad news. Though we never met, he was held in high esteem by many of my FR friends.
