Pritzker said that Texas National Guard troops should, ‘stay the hell out of Illinois.’
Fully embracing anarchy, Democrat leaders in Chicago, a sanctuary city; and in Illinois, a sanctuary state, are using every possible method to thwart federal immigration authorities from removing illegal aliens and curtailing rampant crime there.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson issued an executive order Monday creating an ICE Free Zone, preventing ICE from using city property, such as parking lots, as staging areas, or for enforcement actions. City agencies are directed to use physical barriers like locked gates to limit access to city property, and report to the mayor any attempted use of city property for immigration enforcement. Chicago taxpayers will fund a city-wide distribution of “Know Your Rights” materials for employees, tenants, and security staff, training them to deal with federal agents wishing to use city property.
Gov. JB Pritzker announced the state filed a lawsuit Monday seeking a temporary restraining order to block President Donald Trump from using Illinois and Texas National Guard troops to manage crime in Chicago.
“Illinois is going to use every lever at our disposal to resist this power grab and get (DHS Sec. Kristi) Noem’s thugs hell out of Chicago,” Pritzker said in a Monday afternoon press conference. He also said several times that Texas troops should, “stay the hell out of Illinois.”
Over the weekend, Oct. 4, Border Patrol agents were conducting a patrol in Chicago when their vehicle was rammed by other vehicles and they were boxed in by 10 cars, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) statement.

They want them because Trump doesn’t. They are children.
No need to use city-owned property for federal staging areas.. just shut down a portion of I-55 or I-90 and use that.
Just like southern states that banned Union Soldiers.
Ban these politicians from any public lands that are not under Bureau of Prisons control.

“Public” either means that the public is allowed, or it doesn’t mean that. When “public” parking lots ban some people it’s no longer “public”. These officials need to explain why they are using public funds to have private parking lots.
I wish the other states could declare these “sanctuary” locations as enemy belligerents, because that is what they are. The illegals that they harbor don’t just impact Chicago. I think anybody in a non-sanctuary state who has suffered injury after a sanctuary state harbored an illegal immigrant should sue the sanctuary states. I believe that any suit in which a state is a party is under US Supreme Court original jurisdiction.
Why not discontinue all federal aid?
I assumed that process was already underway.
The feds should use RICO and arrest Gov. Pritzker and Mayor Johnson and every democrat politician in this country who works against Trump’s efforts to clean up the crime riddled cities.
ICE should thank the city for identifying these areas. Now they know where to hold their assemblies, training and other activities and dare the city to intervene.
Texas National Guard should use thin mints instead of rubber bullets...
Bring on the national guard and root out Pritzger. He’s a menace to the people of Chicago as well as the bloody incompetent mayor.
Sanctuary cities are unconstitutional.
Republicans are persona non grata in Cook County, as for Mayor of Chicago, the last time they ran a semi-legit candidate was 40 plus years ago. The corruption makes sure no one other than a Democrat takes office. As for the balance of Republicans, many have become used to second-class runner ups, and are happy to eat scraps from the table. It’s a tragedy. The Land of Lincoln, yea, a hundred years or more ago.
Hey… I live just outside of Pittsburgh. Same story but not quite as corrupt as the Windy City. Been nearly 100 years of solid 100% Democrat office holders in the City. The Republicans aren’t even an after thought inside the city limits.

Now if the President wanted to make a point, he would put the whole state under interdict: no one in, no one out; the borders would be completely sealed.
Just condemn the city owned ‘ICE free zones’ under federal eminent domain, and then use them as staging areas for ICE operations.
