Law Professor Reveals Who's the '30-Point Buck Out in the Open' on Possible Russiagate Charges
Townhall ^ | July 25, 2025 | Matt Vespa |

Law professor Jonathan Turley does not mince words as to which former Obama official is most at-risk of being charged for their role in the Russian collusion hoax. The George Washington University Law School faculty member described ex-CIA Director John Brennan as being the “30-point buck out in the open” regarding potential charges stemming from the trove of disclosures about who orchestrated this operation.

The head honcho, Barack Obama, has already been named in a criminal referral to the Department of Justice. The former president ordered a new intelligence report on Russian collusion after the IC’s initial assessment didn’t support the Democrat narrative. He ordered then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to include a knowingly false and unverified document, the Steele Dossier, to bolster those claims. Clapper knew the document, a Clinton campaign-funded opposition research project rife with disinformation, was garbage, but included it anyway. Brennan also had his fingerprints on this, despite senior analysts disagreeing.

Obama’s CIA director at the very least faces perjury charges.

He claimed he didn’t force the dossier into the bogus Obama-ordered intelligence assessment, saying in his May 2017 congressional testimony that the document “wasn’t part of the corpus of intelligence information that we had. It was not in any way used as a basis for the Intelligence Community Assessment that was done.”

Based on what DNI Tulsi Gabbard has released, that’s a total lie. James Clapper admitted last night he has lawyered up in preparation for possible charges in this scandal.

I think we should waterboard Brennan. He’s an old man and might not survive, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take.

I suspect that you’d have to take a number and get in line for that one!

Brennan deserves everything that comes his way, prison included, if Obama isn’t charged because he’s immune from prosecution I would charge him as an unindicted co-conspirator much like what happened to Richard Nixon, then put him on trial

James Boasberg needs to be added to the list. Also, apply RICO to the Democrat Party.

Proving conspiracy should be easy. The only question is what crime.

My vote is conspiracy to commit seditious treason.

18 USC Ch. 115: TREASON, SEDITION, AND SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES
From Title 18—CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
PART I—CRIMES

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

§2383. Rebellion or insurrection
Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

§2384. Seditious conspiracy
If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

§2385. Advocating overthrow of Government
Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or

Whoever, with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of any such government, prints, publishes, edits, issues, circulates, sells, distributes, or publicly displays any written or printed matter advocating, advising, or teaching the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying any government in the United States by force or violence, or attempts to do so; or

Whoever organizes or helps or attempts to organize any society, group, or assembly of persons who teach, advocate, or encourage the overthrow or destruction of any such government by force or violence; or becomes or is a member of, or affiliates with, any such society, group, or assembly of persons, knowing the purposes thereof—

Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction.

Think of the big deal Watergate became. This scandal is 100X worse than Watergate. It was conspiracy directly manufactured by the President and his top level Intel officials. In contrast, Watergate was executed by some bumbling, low level underlings.

John Brennan does not care...

He will receive elite legal representation for free, because 80% of elite defense lawyers are Democrats.

In addition, at trial, in Washington D.C., the Judge, the FBI investigators, the DOJ prosecutor, and the jury, will all be Democrats.

Only Republicans go bankrupt and go to jail after being charged with a politically related crime.

Just think…….if DJT wouldn’t have turned his head, it would have been a successful assassination. It’s pretty clear to me who had the greatest need to see him dead.

This is why we should never had brought Obama’s name into this. Let Comey, Clapper and Brennan name names to cover their own a$$e$. First one to rat gets immunity.

“The only question is what crime.”

And to think... the Justice Department will not need to invent “novel legal theories”— a la Alvin Bragg— to create a crime post-facto.

My only hope is they split these legitimate charges into, say, 35 or 36 counts against each of the perpetrators.

Who are the deputies to Brennen and Clapper?

Those deputies are the critical flanks that should be attacked. They know with certainty what took place.

A frontal attack on Barack Obama is doomed to failure by endless legal stuff.

Remember that FBI agent on trial in DC: "I HAD to lie and break those laws because we HAD to stop TRUMP!!!!"

Jury: "Not guilty!"

That’s not good for the environment. Use biodiesel instead.
