WASHINGTON — Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., introduced a resolution Monday that would ban transgender women from using female bathrooms in the Capitol just weeks before Democratic Rep.-elect Sarah McBride of Delaware is set to become the first out transgender member of Congress.
The measure would prohibit any lawmakers and House employees from “using single-sex facilities other than those corresponding to their biological sex.”
Asked by reporters whether her resolution was meant to target a marginalized person, Mace said, “Sarah McBride doesn’t get a say in this.”
“This is a biological man trying to force himself into women’s spaces, and I’m not going to tolerate it,” she added.
McBride, who won the race for Delaware’s lone House seat this month, slammed the measure Monday.
“This is a blatant attempt from far right-wing extremists to distract from the fact that they have no real solutions to what Americans are facing. We should be focused on bringing down the cost of housing, health care, and child care, not manufacturing culture wars,” she said in a statement.
“Every day Americans go to work with people who have life journeys different than their own and engage with them respectfully, I hope members of Congress can muster that same kindness,” she said on X.

Whether Rep Mace will succeed or not, her even introducing it without massive backlash (along with other indicators) is a sign that the tide is starting to turn on the woke craziness.

I certainly approve of Mace's action here, but this is an ironic statement coming from the first ever female cadet at the Citadel.
Men, it bans men. Now if the guy has had sexual reassignment surgery, meaning he no longer has a penis, well, that might be a different story. But guys pretending to me women, yeah, they are guys.
I hate to break it to this man in womanface, but there are a lot of leftist women and feminists who are sick and tired of men forcing themselves into women-only spaces and will cheer if this resolution passes. I see them on X everyday. Democrat women who said they voted for Trump and Republicans for the first time and long for the transgender agenda to be stopped dead in its tracks.
This isn't a Democrat vs. Republican issue. This is a truth vs. lies issue. This is about women being erased as a sex in law, medicine, etc.
I attended a space on X today and the women who attended are pissed at these sicko men pushing the trans cult. They want it to end. These are women from all over the political spectrum.
