Days after Algerian boxer Imane Khelif filed a legal complaint in France over online harassment she faced during the 2024 Olympics, some high-profile people were revealed as part of the case.
Both Elon Musk and J.K. Rowling have been named in the complaint, which was filed against X on Friday, according to Variety.
“J. K. Rowling and Elon Musk are named in the lawsuit, among others,” attorney Nabil Boudi told Variety on Tuesday.

But, I don’t have a different POV on this issue.
We all agree: Men should not be in women’s sports. And trans-mania is craziness.
But, I don’t know whether this boxer is a man pretending to be a woman, or a woman with female organs but XY chromosomes.
Maybe we’ll never know.
Sometimes you go down a rabbit hole and happen upon things. I found an article on twitter that has An algerian football site called Fennic saying kamal osmani (there is a reporter by that name) is reporting that khelif said he has had no contact with this lawyer

Not sure I’d call those with Swyer syndrome ‘female’ although their birth phenotype suggests that. They have the ‘male’ Y chromosome, but one or another of the ‘make male parts’ subroutines thereon is defective. So philosophically to a purist they are defective males who need special medical care (cut out the cancerous bits and provide missing hormones). But sufficiently defective males may find many parts of life simpler pretending to be mildly defective, infertile girls. At least they’d blend in in bathroom or locker rooms. Only for the tiny fraction of this tiny fraction who are otherwise healthy enough, talented and motivated to be competitive athletes does it become a problem.
Someone with nonfunctional, atypical, female genitalia but the chromosomes and hormones of a male makes a person intersex, at best who should not be classified as female for athletic competition—especially for a sport like boxing.

I’ve only recently heard about Swyer because of the news stories about this boxer. According to what I’ve read, if I’ve understood correctly, someone with Swyer could have a vagina, a uterus, and fallopian tubes, but nonfunctional, underdeveloped ovaries. However, with hormone treatment, that person would menstruate, and with a donated egg or embryo, that person could carry a pregnancy to term, which is why I’d consider someone with Swyer to be female.
Of course, we don’t know what condition this boxer has. All I know is that life must be difficult with a DSD condition.
Male or female it is a freak of nature. Not to compete with others.
If there was a human with genetic abnormalities that provided kangaroo legs and made it hop like a kangaroo it would not fairly compete in broad jump
