Law enforcement was noticeably absent when violence erupted on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles late Tuesday night between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian demonstrators.
Dozens of counter-protestors, many wearing white masks and flags over their shoulders, arrived around 10:45 p.m. and attempted to dismantle the pro-Palestinian encampment that has overtaken Royce Quad since last Thursday. The agitators lobbed fireworks at the encampment and set off what may have been bear or pepper spray.

There were at least two motives.
First of all, there was an aspect of the George Floyd riots that were organic and legitimate, and guess what, those actually were peaceful at first. But those protests got infiltrated and co-opted.
Secondly, don’t forget that Trump actually was in office then. So having current events hurt the president was actually a good thing at that time.
Biden is in office now, and the majority of Americans are not pro-Hamas.

Media and universities are receiving money and business from Qatar, and Qatar is pro Iran. So there is a monetary interest. The protest backers can also blackmail to get things Iran wants by threatening to act up and cause unrest here, especially in an election year.
By bring Fithian into this, it is an indicator of an intent to go violent.

For all practical purposes, an anti Israel protestor IS a Hamas supporter, whether they realize it or not.
Like these parents with rotten kids that do drugs, shoplift and disrespect cops...the parents may not have intended for their kids to ever do that, but they are responsible for it by letting their kids have what they want, cell phones, computers, etc., by letting their kids be disrespectful, by failing to punish their kids when the kids first began disobeying them, by opposing efforts by the schools to punish their kids, by bailing their kids out after they start petty criminal behavior. For all practical purposes, the parents created the monsters and keep making the monsters worse. And it only ends when their monsters kill themselves or get killed while doing something tryou heinous, because appeasing parents, like fellow traveling sympathic activists, never learn until it is too late to matter.
