Law enforcement was noticeably absent when violence erupted on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles late Tuesday night between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian demonstrators.
Dozens of counter-protestors, many wearing white masks and flags over their shoulders, arrived around 10:45 p.m. and attempted to dismantle the pro-Palestinian encampment that has overtaken Royce Quad since last Thursday. The agitators lobbed fireworks at the encampment and set off what may have been bear or pepper spray.

The video I just watched showed me one thing: These kids have never been in a fight in their lives.

The TV reports make it seem like the entire campus is under siege. My daughter is a professor at VCU. She was on campus the other night when the cops rolled in on the protestors. She didn’t really even notice because it was so tiny. Half a block away, life went on unaffected.

So that makes them monsters just like the people who were hands-on doing the awful barbarism that day in Israel.
So, most any rational person would be OK with the protestors being dealt with severely.
As severely as the guys who actually did Oct 7? Probably would be justified. They probably should be charged with sedition. Transported to Gitmo. Lose their US citizenship.

In 2020, people were analyzing the organization and tactics of rioters, especially around Portland, OR. IIRC, they had identified the command structure and certain signals they would sent using flash units. I wonder if any of that is going on now. I noticed that the high power lasers are not in use.

What is the motive?
This whole thing does not appear to be helping Biden. In fact, quite the opposite.
I thought the media’s cardinal rule was to help the democrats, and most importantly help the most prominent democrat. (this does not include Trump Derangement, which goes above and beyond standard political bias).
Is it actually possible that supporting “pro-palastinian” causes or being anti-Israel is more important to the media than helping Biden?
Around 2am Eastern this morning, FR was a lively place, several LA TV stations had helicopters in the air above the battle and it was interesting to watch live.
The counter protesters would retreat, gather weapons and bodies and then move forward to tear down a plywood wall the Hamas crowd had erected, every once in a while, a person would get too far away from their support and get pummeled. They kept repeating this patten for a couple of hours.
For over 2 hours there was ZERO police presence anywhere, in fact one of the TV stations reported campus police had been told to stand down.

Watched it live last night. Three and a half hours before the mayor said they were sending in the police “immediately”. No doubt in my mind the police had a stand down order.
I know it is. I am starting to notice a pattern that on any issue, the ones controlling the narrative try to create 2 distinct “sides”.
They do this before they introduce a new policy surrounding the issue that doesn’t fit into traditional paradigms. The people on one “side” will be against it and the people on the other “side” will be for it. This prevents everyone from deciding they are all against it and preventing the new policy from being enacted.
It was the same with lock downs and vaccinations. They needed to create 2 distinct groups and then have one for it and one against it in order to ensure that everyone wasn’t against the gambit they were going to go on.
The new policy in question is emptying Gaza and bringing them here so the Israel can have the land for themselves and we can deal with the fallout.
If you would have proposed something like this 5 years ago, you would have been laughed out of the building.
Now that they have created the 2 “sides”, they can begin shipping them here. One side will bitch about it and the other will defend it but they can rest assured that they can get it done.

Anything to distract from how bad Biden is doing.
Protestors and counter protestors...what are their names, where are their faces, where do they live, who funded them, who are their parents, siblings, friends, etc., etc., etc. ???????
