There is no Second Amendment in China, and Chinese citizens are not permitted to possess firearms. So is it possible that the shooters in the videos are merely taking advantage of a new-found freedom in their new home country ?
Unlikely.
One of the migrants videoed was in America for only three weeks and arrived in the country with no money and no identification.
If you had just landed somewhere as a migrant with nothing to your name, you would undoubtedly be preoccupied with finding your next meal, getting a place to live, making a livelihood.
You would not, within weeks of entering your new homeland, be sharpening your skills to kill.
You would not be thinking of killing unless... that is what you came to do.
The videos posted on X depict a sandy location. Blaine Holt, a retired Air Force general living in Idaho, knows Chinese migrants are taking target practice in his state as well.
"Tens of thousands of military-age men have come across our border and are now in America, organized by group and nationality" Holt told Gatestone this month. "Among them are terrorist and state actors, in particular, members of the People's Liberation Army of China. As we speak, these actors are training, making plans and obtaining weapons, watching our patterns, and learning our vulnerabilities."
"We are vulnerable to attack," Holt added. "Our enemies eagerly wait."
War correspondent Michael Yon and the Rubin brothers of Muckraker.com have documented the presence of dangerous-looking elements — from China, Iran, Syria and Venezuela — among the hordes of migrants traveling up from Central America. Yon and the Rubins have noticed, among other things, that Chinese males of military age are traveling in packs of five to fifteen, are unaccompanied by family members, and are pretending not to speak English. Some of them, on their way to America, have performed Chinese military rituals.
Federal agents have periodically apprehended border-crossers with terrorist connections, but the surge in migrants from China is taxing law enforcement resources. U.S. Border Patrol chiefs testified last year before the House Homeland Security Committee that they are worried that, due to sheer numbers, migrants with links to the Chinese military and those who are members of the Chinese Communist Party are slipping through background checks.
Despite warning signs, the Biden administration is not keeping tabs on dangerous-looking elements once they have crossed into America.

It’s RAY-cist to suggest that until they actually do kill us (and then it’s RAY-cist to complain about it).

"Idaho" caught my eye as that's our home state, so I looked up General Holt and found this on the Air Force web site, "biographies" section:
BRIGADIER GENERAL BLAINE D. HOLTNow wait a sec, there! The article says Gen'l Holt is RETIRED but his bio says is a US Rep to NATO in the current tense. What's up with that?
Brig. Gen. Holt is the Deputy United States Military Representative to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). He supports the Military Representative and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in executing the U.S. political-military mission at the North Atlantic Council.
I scrolled to the bottom of the Air Force biography of General Holt and saw this:
"(Current as of October 2015)"
The Air Force hasn't updated his bio in almost NINE YEARS? What the hell? Really?
Doubt it very much. The Chinese DO infiltrate agents and the like, but this is a very poor way to do it.
The Chinese have, for this sort of limited purpose, unlimited funds and the backing of a superpower. They don’t have to sneak in commando teams over the Mexican border, like would-be guerillas. If they want to do real damage, they already have lots of people in the US, with work, study or immigrant visas. And these have influential positions.
What these “teams” sound like are members of Chinese organized crime.

These criminal networks provide a variety of services to the Chinese government, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and Chinese legal enterprises. They help build networks of corruption and influence among foreign politicians and businesses.

Meh...all the Chinese have to do is wait. Our own government is weakening us here at home. There’s no need for them to rush.
Personally, I would make it publicly known to Xi and the rest of China that if their infiltrators take up arms against America in any way, our nukes will be launched at China immediately.

I’m sure all that’s true, but...
It’s true, also, that importing military aged men trained in military operational leadership & on-the-ground command and control and honed in the specifics of various distuptive techniques - all geared for a specific timing - would make the harnessing of all that you describe an order of magnitude more effective.
It was a lab, for certain. It did have a cover of sorts, that being they were a covid test lab testing swabs sent in from all over (which companies or individuals sent in the used swabs isn't clear.) They did have mice which were poorly taken care of, for testing purposes. They did have a number of suspicious specimen pathogens, but none were reported as "weaponized." Not that they would have to be.
