MOSCOW, February 2-RIA Novosti. Great Britain has invited NATO allies to consider sending an expeditionary force of the alliance to Ukraine, an informed source told RIA Novosti.
"In connection with the unfavorable developments for Kiev in the Ukrainian theater of military operations, Britain invited NATO allies to consider sending an expeditionary force of the alliance to Ukraine, as well as establishing a no-fly zone over the territory controlled by the Kiev authorities, and increasing the supply of weapons and equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces", said the agency's interlocutor.
At the same time, according to him, London understands that the majority of member countries of the bloc are now unlikely to support such measures...

Sounds like Russia will now be forced to kill off a generation of NATO soldiers, after killing off a generation of NATO-trained soldiers.
Glad we don’t have Trump in power, or we’d be looking at World War 3.
“””””This UK situation reminds me of “US advisors” sent to Vietnam in 1961.”””””
The advisors were sent to Vietnam in 1950, we had them there with Truman, 2 terms of Eisenhower, and some of JFK, and then JFK started building up until we had over 16,000 troops there.
See that gives a better perspective on the situation. Thanks. So what is being said, it that they want to escalate the war into a bigger event perhaps a worldwide event.
UK is writing all kinds of checks that other people have to cash.
They have become much bigger warmongers than those in DC, if that is even possible.
They see that as the way forward we must do this for Peace and Prosperity one might argue.
World War II lifted the USA out of the Great Depression in economic terms with massive spending jobs in factories or the military etc. etc..
well, that leaves the US out because they foolishly abandoned their factories, so we have to almost start from scratch again. We were even so foolish as to turn over some important aspects to our enemies.
But, we achieved near full employment making more expensive and better stuff.
Well ideally, in the name of “equilibrium”, there should indeed be as many NATO troops in Ukraine as there are Russian troops there.
So I hope we get 400.000 NATO troops there, sooner or later.
At that point Kremlin’s imperialists will definitely abandon any further illegal conquests of other peoples homes and lands.
This is all about America’s principle of “Peace through strength” as Trump always says.”
I believe every single Freeper support that motto for America! Right?
What really expensive & better stuff do we produce? Perhaps you can provide me 2 or 3 of these items you are referencing?
Hmmm… I’ve heard that phrase “Expeditionary Force” somewhere before. I think maybe it had something to do with a place called Dunkirk?
I read Peter Hitchens in the UK he would argue this war mongering is crazy but he would blame it on the UK sucking up to the Neocons in Washington.
The UK is saying what people in Washington believe but are afraid to say may be driving this verbal excrement.
But of course one wonders whether the “Mother Country” is trying to drag us down.
US national debt holders right now the UK is in third place behind Japan and China over 700 billion in holdings the UK must get that money from the Arabs?
LOL, Russian BS propaganda. Its amazing how people keep believing Russian lies.
I looked it up previously.
The most germaine to our readership was JFK, when the buildup (to collapse) began.
I just wanted to clarify the advisor/1961 date, advisors were fine under 4 presidents until JFK switched to masses of troops.
Three presidents= 4 different terms of presidents.
This justice department would file charges.
Another germophobe?
Tucker should have made my list. He’s in Moscow right now!
You remember my earlier suggestion?
“But Trump could send a person relatively isolated from his campaign. Maybe a well-known actor insulated by relative fame? A sports figure, or noted filmmaker, Dinesh D’Souza? Riley Gaines? Candace Owens? Ginni Thomas? Thomas Sowell? Victor Davis Hanson? Mark Steyn?”
I posted a comment that I wished Trump could meet with Putin and work
some things out with him. I did not see that as a possibility. There are
laws concerning private citizens doing that.
One of them concerns private citizens acting as a diplomat.
The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C. § 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that criminalizes negotiation by unauthorized American citizens with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States.
Another addressed even the simplest of contacts between our citizens and
foreign heads of state.

Reading these they may seem rather benign. I would urge you to consider how
supporters of Trump are having the book thrown at them using every tactic
possible to punish them.
Look at the January 6th situation. I don’t advise anyone to come close to
infringing on matters like this, because the Left has a proclivity to institute
legal action, and they have proven they won’t hesitate to bend the law to
suit their desired outcomes.
I know Tucker is there. Will be interesting to see what takes place.
I didn’t think your response was bad one. It would seem logical.
