MOSCOW, February 2-RIA Novosti. Great Britain has invited NATO allies to consider sending an expeditionary force of the alliance to Ukraine, an informed source told RIA Novosti.
"In connection with the unfavorable developments for Kiev in the Ukrainian theater of military operations, Britain invited NATO allies to consider sending an expeditionary force of the alliance to Ukraine, as well as establishing a no-fly zone over the territory controlled by the Kiev authorities, and increasing the supply of weapons and equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces", said the agency's interlocutor.
At the same time, according to him, London understands that the majority of member countries of the bloc are now unlikely to support such measures...

Wow what a story there is a war going on you know.
Was there any time frame associated with this claim?
This is how we get WWIII.
“London proposed sending a NATO expeditionary force to Ukraine”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Well, they want to copycat Russia.
Russia has already sent 400.000 expeditionary forces into Ukraine.
Madmen.
What makes this story plausible is that the UK Defense Minister Grant Shapps has already warned of war coming.
Yes
London must think this is 1941 when the Yanks could save their azzes.
This is asinine.
The British would do anything to get us involved in a hot war with Russia or WW III. It’s pathetic military wouldn’t last a month in Ukraine.
Sounds like the Dieppe Raid.
The historical perspective is this in 1941 the US started escorting convoys to the UK halfway across the Atlantic to Iceland which was occupied by US forces.
The US was applying pressure on Germany daring Hitler to shoot.
U-Boats sunk a US merchant ship and destroyer in the fall of 1941.
The economic sanctions on Japan also going in 1941 forcing Japan to make a choice.
Right now military pressure on Russia in Ukraine and economic sanctions on computer chip shipments to China.
Very 1941ish.
But I was asking when this took place. Was it recent, or was it before the conflict even began? was it to take Ukraine before Russia tried to get it back, as many here now claim?
I see this as recent not 2022 or earlier the story in essence says this is linked to current battlefield conditions in Ukraine not going so well for Ukraine.
Hitler’s blunder was declaring war on us right after Pearl Harbor. America came out of that day united and pissed off. He thought he could take on the US and the Soviet Union at the same rime, and he paid for it.
It is. So my question is this: What is the strategic or national interest of Ukraine to the UK or the United States? What does Ukraine have that is worth dying for?
Hitler was obliged by the Tripartite Pact with Italy and Japan to declare war when Japan did Pearl Harbor.
FDR got what he wanted by prodding Japan to attack to go to war FDR got into the war with Hitler.
Yes World War II needed but only because of the original mistake of World War I.
I have thought the same. After Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and the U.S. declared war on Japan, Hitler should have issued a strong statement of support for his heroic allies and promised economic and military aid, but left out a declaration of war. And then shut up. But no, the little punk got too big for his britches. And ended up as a burning corpse.
