Nobody wants to admit American manufacturing just hit a new low

In case you hadn’t noticed, President Joe Biden has been making a number of appearances lately at manufacturing plants. These trips included a microchip plant in North Carolina and a “green energy” plant in Minnesota. He’s been attempting to show voters how his policies are driving an economic comeback in the manufacturing sector, particularly for projects to save the climate or whatever. But as usual, the real story of American manufacturing is quite different than the one that the White House is trying to sell. As was reported in the Free Beacon on Monday, analysts are keeping a close eye on the Institute for Supply Management’s manufacturing index, known as PMI. It’s a key indicator of how strong manufacturing actually is in the United States. And this week, the index fell to the lowest level seen since the pandemic began.

U.S. manufacturing reached its lowest point since the start of the pandemic, according to a report released just as President Joe Biden embarked on a tour of U.S. factories to tout his promise to boost the industry.

But the media will never report it.

It’s like the Soviet press that constantly harped about “record” Harvests.

When the Dollar is dropped as the Global Reserve Currency - there will be no successor. There will simply be unilateral and multilateral bartering.

Global Trade as we knew it is coming to an end. US Manufacturing will actually get a longterm boost from it.

No workers. No raw materials to work with, even if we had the workers to do the work.

Let’s Go, Brandon! *SPIT*

China builds coal power plants so they will have electricity to support their manufacturing. The US closes coal power plants.

Let’s put more carbon tax on them then more coal exhaust scrubbers to make sure they are not competitive.

“ It’s like the Soviet press that constantly harped about “record” Harvests.”

That’s because IT IS that exact same press brought forward into the 21st century, with new tech tools and data harvesting.

We sell processing equipment to Chemical, food, Pharma and plastic companies...It’s dead. I have never seen it so slow and it’s quite scary. The only other time it was close to this slow was 2016——God help us.

Americans can't afford many of the things we produce in the U.S.

That's why we've seen two long-term trends in U.S. manufacturing. Most industries with a strong U.S. manufacturing presence make products that fit into one or more of these three categories:

1. They are sold to business customers, not consumers (aircraft, heavy equipment and railroad cars, for example).

2. They are sold to consumers who must borrow heavily to buy them (cars, for example).

3. Americans are forced to buy them even if they don't want them (aircraft carriers and COVID vaccines, for example).

You're seeing how a fascist economy works, folks.

Correction there ... I came up with a third but forgot to change the intro sentence!

All I see when I see him at these plants is the Kim family visits to Nork production plants where there is no sign of actual production/products except for maybe a barrel or a can or three on an otherwise empty roller conveyer.

> Manufacturing was growing under Trump. <

For inner-city blacks, Trump was the best possible person in the White House. Trump wanted to bring industry back to America. That would have meant factories returning to our cities and towns.

So instead of just standing on the street corner, city folks would have well-paying jobs to go to.

Can’t have that! Gotta keep city folks poor, and dependent on the government. Trump had to be pushed aside.

Just about everything is hitting new lows in America.

It will get even lower under Biden. How can you expect otherwise when the energy industry is severely damaged. Progress will require energy and we are denying ourselves this commodity. Only countries like China, Russia, India and North Korea are winners becuse they ignore the climate change fools and just continue doing it their own way at our expense.

Everthing we touch, see and purchase is from Communist China or some other foreign country. This was no mistake. Leftist and globalist have left this country weak and very vulnerable.

“Manufacturing was growing under Trump.”

It wasn’t. At least measuring by the ISM index. It was flat in his first two years, had a large decline in 2019, and collapsed in 2020 during Covid. It bounced back at the very end of his term, to just a little above where it started.
