President Biden would easily beat former President Donald Trump in a hypothetical 2024 election matchup — but would lose if he faced off against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, according to a recent poll.
In a rematch of the 2020 presidential contest, the 80-year-old Biden would prevail over his 76-year-old predecessor by eight percentage points in the popular vote — 49% to 41% — but would fall to the Sunshine State’s Republican governor by 45% to 42% in a head-to-head contest, the WPA Intelligence survey released Jan. 13 found.

Uh oh. Republicans are getting over Trump in a hurry. Trump has no path to the White House in 2024.
He loses every state he lost in 2020 with the likely addition of North Carolina.
Ron DeSantis is, as of now, the future of the Republican Party and it's expected that he'll formally declare after Florida's legislative session wraps up in May.

The Republican Establishment just want to control who the nominee is. They don’t need to win the White House.

To: Dr. Thorne
The Big Guy won’t be the nominee.

As long as enough swing states have covid voting I doubt it matters.

Biden will beat Desantis too. VOTED FRAUD!!!! No DOJ/FBI to enforce the laws.

To: Dr. Thorne
Uh oh. Republicans are getting over Trump in a hurry. These polls are meaningless this far ahead of any primary or general election. Doesn't matter if they say "Trump trounces Biden by 42 points!" or whatever. They're meaningless. Way too early.

For everyone not already aware of it, the New York Post has gone full DeSantis and full anti-Trump.
I don’t think newspapers should do this. It sullies the name “newspaper.”
The Murdochs are right-wing yet have turned the Post into a British-style tabloid.

🤢🤢
The only way DeSantis is the future is if the uni-party decides to put him in. Then he’s a shoe in by way of the fraud.

Maybe FR should have a poll

To: ClearCase_guy
    Eleventy-two zillion votes! C’mon man!

Of course Desantis is gaining. It’s dawning on more and more people everyday that there’s nowhere else to go.
