Trump Suggests ‘Termination’ of U.S. Constitution Allowable over 2020 Twitter Scandal [UPDATE: The author is spinning. Trump's actual words are now posted below.]

Former President Donald Trump suggested the “termination” of the United States Constitution could be allowable in response to the bombshell report that the Democrat Party colluded with Twitter to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election.

The former president made his observation via his Truth Social account on Saturday following journalist Matt Taibbi’s thorough report on Twitter’s internal communications during the 2020 elections at the behest of newly-minted CEO Elon Musk.

The author of the Breitbart article above is spinning (lying). Here's what Trump actually posted.

There was a great cartoon by Richard Guindon in which a couple was arguing inside an apartment and one said “It’s not over until the fat lady sings.” You could see in the hall there was a large woman going over several pages of sheet music to get ready.

Do you even know what you meant to say when you worded it
that way? Just curious.

Not quite. The Constitution does provide a cure for this level of corruption.

The mere existence of an “elected government” does not mean no tyranny, of course. Things almost came to a head with Willy Brandt and his Soviet shenanigans.

‘In his tweet President Trump explicitly explains that if the communist “Democratic” Party gets away with this crime it is the end of the Constitution.’

no, the Constitution was only mentioned at the end, as the remedy for the crime already committed and already gotten away with...there is no ‘if’ condition in his statement...

Comparing what the Prez “truthed” vs what Breitbart “reported”, I see a bit of a difference.

Breitbart is FOS.

I took it to mean that allowing the fraud allows for all the other depredations, particularly those on the Constitution.

Yeah, that’ll gain needed voters in the runup to 2024.

“”Didn’t even pay attention to the name, wasn’t that important to me, sorry....””

Someone stalk me. C’mon! I never get stalked and dammit it’s about time! It’s like carrying all these years and nothing ever happens! 32 rounds on me and nothing.

We even had an super fake insurrection where people didn’t do much of anything but yell a lot but I didn’t even get invited! Some of them even got to go to jail and stuff and never were really charged with anything and I bet you some of them stalked someone - maybe. They are basically political prisoners but did did they come after me - nope!

*sigh* - Nothing exciting ever happens to me! About the only thing I have going for me is a girlfriend half my age that looks great nekkid.

I’ll try to carry on as best I can. Gotta go, we live on the water and sometimes guys fish outside in boats and she walks around in the above state and they stare. The master has a very big window (can I say master?). Wait a minute! Maybe they are not fishing? Damn! Maybe they are stalking HER!

/sarcasm kind of off

That’s exactly what he is saying here. It is interesting that those who support Trump ‘no matter what’ are projecting this unto his enemies. Jim Robinson knows what he meant or he wouldn’t have invoked the Declaration’s statement regarding the throwing off of tyrannical government... presumably here meaning the overthrow of the constitutional order to redress a stolen election...

Even Teddy Roosevelt couldn’t win as a Third Party Candidate. Isn’t that how we ended up with the destructive racist Democrat Woodrow Wilson?

“The mere existence of an “elected government” does not mean no tyranny, of course. Things almost came to a head with Willy Brandt and his Soviet shenanigans.”

The mere existance of a government by necessity does require a modicum of “tyranny”. Plenty of restrictions on liberty for the good of public safety. Like don’t park in front of fire hydrants, don’t jaywalk, etc. This is a small amount of “tyranny” which on balance, the large majority of the public (including me) accept. The problem gets when you start cracking down more intensely on civil liberties, especially against one specific group. Say....Republicans.
Suddenly, the whole cost/benefit analysis of obeying the law starts looking bad, and public consensus breaks down. And that’s when unfortunate things happen....

Liquidating the Constitution was not suggested in this post more like upholding the Constitutional standard of legitimacy.

Bout the most exciting thing that happened to me was a girl I’d recently started dating showed up at my apartment uninvited and drunk, and started accusing me of cheating on her while waving a knife she’d been using to cut up limes, to get even drunker.

I called the cops to remove her. I knew if I threw her out, I’d get thrown in pokey for domestic abuse. To their credit, they showed up super-fast, and handled her very nicely.

And I went back to my quiet evening of NOT cheating on her. Never saw her again....
