Former President Donald Trump suggested the “termination” of the United States Constitution could be allowable in response to the bombshell report that the Democrat Party colluded with Twitter to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election.
The former president made his observation via his Truth Social account on Saturday following journalist Matt Taibbi’s thorough report on Twitter’s internal communications during the 2020 elections at the behest of newly-minted CEO Elon Musk.
The author of the Breitbart article above is spinning (lying). Here's what Trump actually posted.
See posts #58 and 59 below.
Nothing wrong with saying that. But he didn’t say that was the cure.
Again, we won’t agree.
He isn’t for nullification of the Constitution. Obviously you read at a 2nd grade level of comprehension or you are just another lying RINO.
That is an astute observation.
Not a Twitter blue check
Are you still on this website, you vile, Third-World, heinous and hideous excuse for a human being?
Breitbart should be totally ridiculed for their misleading headline. And we certainly have a lot of Freepers who do what they do best... don’t read beyond the title and put the worst spin they can on a couple of sentences which by any thinking person’s view, can be interpreted several ways. Sure... PDJT could have worded it better, but surely you know him well enough to NOT jump to the worst interpretation you can make, dontcha?? Good grief.....
See, and there's the rub. He should never have tweeted in a way that left any wiggle room.
And there's this: Have I seen Constitution-nullification behavior out of him before? Well, yes I have, once. The bump-stock ban was him legislating without involving Congress.
Trump is effectively calling for revolution because he lost his election. He is the ultimate denier and refuses responsibility for his failures in that campaign. This suggests all the crazy insurrection nonsense spouting from the Left is plausible. I will not defend him anymore.
Elon even pointed out BOTH campaigns targeted tweets although Biden found much friendlier help because of Twitter employees ideology. Team Trump’s hands aren’t clean, just less dirty.
I agree with the other freeper, Trump doesn’t really want to be president again. He’s gone so far over the top he’s completely lost himself.
Jane, that was a few days after the mid-term election, and
for him to address election fraud at that point would be
seen by many as, “Whoa boy, here we go again!”
Maricopa and other areas hadn’t developed enough yet for
him to gain traction at that point. So yeah, I said
what I said, and would say it again.
I’m sorry you don’t have the tools to grasp that, but
you still don’t.
It does not mean that I was not supporting him at all,
but if you want to believe that, it’s fine by me.
You need to get back to supporting insider professional government politicians....Because that’s all ya got without Trump.
I don’t even know where to begin with that...
Biden was installed by the Deep State Cabal.
Trump is calling for the reinstatement of the United States Constitution, and restoration of Constitutional order.
We live in extraordinary times. Buckle up, because you’ve got a lot of waking up to do.
My sentiments exactly...Have read the statement many times...Will wait, and hope, for clarification from Breitbart and Trump. The statement is ambiguous to me...
"Ohh, right.. Well, how does it feel, Laz? Was it worth it? You've murdered us all!"
Nor would it matter if I did. There are no viable pathways to the presidency for a Republican any more.
Country is run by Fascists and Biden and Trump are working from different angles to further destroy the Constitution.
Oh c’mon. Lets be adults and just get over it. Yes, we watched the corrupt in this government/media attempt to criminally undermine, compromise and overthrow a legitimately elected candidate/nominee, and president, and then an elections.
But were helpless, so lets just move on.
I read the comments here confirming what was said.
They did guarantee us a republican form of government, where the people are the ultimate source of authority.
Do we really have that now in AZ, for example?
Do we really have that now in many states, where election boards are corrupt, ballot harvesting and mail in ballots lead to chain of custody issues, voter ID isn't needed and voting machine software remains proprietary?
