Meghan McCain responds to ‘bile trash’ from Kari Lake about John McCain

Political analyst Meghan McCain, the daughter of former Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), responded on Monday to comments made by Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake (R) about her father, calling them “bile trash.”

“Everyone has been asking me for comment on this bile trash from Kari Lake,” wrote McCain over Twitter in response to an article discussing Lake’s remarks.

Lake referred to McCain, the 2008 GOP nominee for president who died of cancer in 2018, as a “loser” at a campaign event on Friday.

“We don’t have any McCain Republicans in here, do we?” former television anchor Lake asked the event’s attendees, who booed in response.

“Well, get the hell out!” Lake said, directed at McCain supporters.

Political analyst? That’s a fancy name for anyone with an opinion.

And then suspended his campaign to return to DC to show his treasonous colors of bipartisanship, and the rest is history.

In fact, the same could be said for John McCain, look at how quickly he was forgotten as soon as he kicked the bucket. Just another minor politician in a dusty old history book...

He is still a thing here in Arizona, which is why we got Martha McSally (TWICE) when she was an AWFUL candidate. McCain's courtiers are scattered about AZ government, and weeding them all out will take several cycles.

As Lake is running in AZ, it is a gutsy move that will motivate the base and turn off a McCain nose-holder or two.
