SCOOP: I’m at the Trump Rally in Dayton, Ohio speaking with insiders and everyone I’ve spoken to says Donald Trump is announcing his 2024 Presidential run tonight.
Good excuse for the Dems to say that's why the last batch of votes that were counted shifted heavily in favor of Democrats.

Idiotic to announce tonight. The “Red Wave” is WAY overhyped. Videos of GEN Z voters out the door in Michigan and elsewhere today...and they are NOT in any polls. GOTV!!!
The only reason to announce tonight would be if Trump has advance word he is being indicted tomorrow or on Wednesday. Otherwise wait until the midterms are over.
I seriously doubt an announcement tonight will dampen R turnout or inspire D’s anymore than their delusions already have done.
My completely unscientific belief is most D’s with a functioning brain [I know, not a lot] already are on board with the MAGA philosophy in action if not name, a belief held only because I haven’t totally abandoned all hope that the slaps across the face in the past 2 years have awoken some of them.

The advice for Trump to announce before the current election is very very bad.
On one hand, thee fear is that if the President announces his run tonight, he'll motivate Democrats to come out tomorrow to vote against his candidates. However, remember that most Democrats that are going to vote already voted early.
On the other hand, President Trump announcing his run will ensure an utterly massive MAGA turnout tomorrow.
On the other hand, a Republican Congress means nothing (or less, we have seen this) unless it is MAGA and pro-Trump.
If they put McCarthy in charge, I don’t give a sh_t if they win, anyway.
